OMG! I first went to Tam Coc - Hoa Lu in 1996. Again in 2000 and last time was 2007. What a difference it is today. On first visit it was such a tranquil and enchanting place and not built up at all. Some of the older rowers could not speak English but did speak French as their second language, though they always tried the hard sell with their textiles. The only place to stay back then was in Ninh Binh town.
10 years ago l went to visited Ha long bay but this place you are visiting now l don’t think it was opened at that time l went Because l have never heard of it

Tam Coc cave boat tour was open when I went the in 2012, but the area has changed a LOT and there are many new things there.
if you have enough money you must go and see some caves in Quang binh
