Same hatchery strain since the 70’s, inbred into almost non existent numbers. Broodstock program for spring chinook started 2 years ago on the Clackamas. Fingers crossed some new genetics in the hatchery fish make for better returns.

Eagle Creek needs to go back to raising spring chinook and steelhead not just silvers but it’s a federal hatchery so they do what they want
