Borrowed this from a friend and didn't know the 6 hour thing. Used it just to rinse my contact and put it back in and felt like my eye was being burned away. SO painful. 23 hours later my eye is still blood shot.
Ran into QVC to get what I thought was a normal contact solution. For 12 bucks I thought this was top of the line solution. The box has one small box on the left side corner that says not for direct eye use. It should be plastered on the front of the label! I rinsed my irritated contact and put it back in my eye. Well we know how that ended. I lost my contact because I flushed my eye in the sink and now my eye is more irritated than it was. I’m lucky I’m not blind! Be careful with this product only after I was able to relax and look at the BOTTLE not the box does it say the lid is red because it’s not for direct use. LOL I’m scared to even put this other contact back in my eye 6 hours or not.
That’s correct, I work in ophthalmology & all prescription drops actually have color coded tops - whether it’s for glaucoma, retinal degeneration, prep for cataract surgery, dry eye tears, all will likely have diff lids & even in the office red are not directly for eyes
The packaging and label needs to be different not in the same style bottle as normal saline solution... my eye is so sore and seems to be a common mistake
I improperly put it in before 6 hours cause I thought it was like regular solution it had me looking like Cyclops from the xmen cause it doesn't say warning on the front of the box
I used the clear care solution for few days now 4th time I went to put in right eye was good but was having major stinging left eye. Took it out and it did same thing to eye. Am I suppose to use the clear care every night after wearing contacts? If I have them in solution for 10-11 hours is that ok? I normally rinse contacts before I put in with preservative free solution and fill up contact put in. So why did I get such burning? I have taken it out of the clear care solution after 8 hours empty solutions and let sit in holder until I get up and put in my eyes. What am I doing wrong?
I like the regular Clear Care. The one with Hydroglyde gives me red eyes, makes my vision cloudy, with rainbow halos around light, so I've stopped using that one.
would this work to clean scuffs and blurry-ness?? cuz my left eye with any kind of lights they always look really blown out and more exposed to the point where it's iritating and I cant quite see as well as my right eye so I would have to keep putting eye drops in, so would this help with the situations I am facing with my contact lense??
Quinn Lola, no. Don't put them back into the deactivated solution. You need to disinfect them every time you wear them. If you don't put them on for a few days, they can sit in the solution without changing it. After 7 days you need to disinfect again, even if you don't wear them.

This happened to me today. Does the pain go away? I pulled it out as fast as I could and rinsed good. My eye is still. Ety irritated
The regular Clear Care works well for my, not the one with Hydroglyde.

Did the same lol
Makes vision a bit hazy and I see halos around light sources. I used as directed
Just what I was looking for, very informative but yet simple!
Put them in my eye, burned it, freaked out
The packaging and label needs to be different not in the same style bottle as normal saline solution... my eye is so sore and seems to be a common mistake
Will that really solve the problem? Or you are just illiterate?
Chris yes but I have bad eyesight.... and if my eyes are irritated I want instant relief from solution not try to squint to read the label :)
Oh shit I was about to use it like a multi purpose good thing my phone is spying on me and recommended this to me
Clear Care is the best solution out there.I thought it was my lens brand but it was the solution I had been using
I improperly put it in before 6 hours cause I thought it was like regular solution it had me looking like Cyclops from the xmen cause it doesn't say warning on the front of the box
this product works great. It dosnt bother my eyes like some of the other products
No warning. Burned, thought I am going to blind
Sound's like you was already blind, to blind to see the CLEAR WARNINGS not to put in your eye directly from the bottle!
I live by this stuff ...it makes the feel new

Frosted_Bug PS4 You didn't follow the directions. Everything is written clearly. You do NOT use this like a multi purpose solution.
