Why are you using two different cars in A comparison video?
I was wondering the same thing. He's also got the blurry vision enabled in PC...

Haulin Hebrew Sim Racing Considering it's the same track, I figured it was merely a video comparing the track and not the car driven.
Compare it in dynamic weather situation... for example thunderstorm... with small pools on the track etc.. Oh yeah i forgot there is no weather (and single player mode and dynamic time of day etc) in gt at all... hmmm it's 2017 guys...
They both have there strengths but GT takes the cake surprisingly. I'm no GT fanboy and actual have never played a GT game (!) but at shadow pop in is very annoying, the colors, the smoothness, the specular highlights and the lightening all best PC2's showing. Plus the GT replays are top notch car pr0n :D I'll be sticking with Forza though as I only have a PC. Can't wait for more GT vs Forza vids!
You activated the "blur" in the cockpit view of PCARS2, which is wrong, since our eyes already do that without any need to mimic it via software. So the effect is unrealistic if seen in a video. Other than that, PCARS2 sound is better but the lighting engine of GT Sport is still the best. Polyphony made a masterpiece on that side. In some tracks for example, also the details of the scenery, the environment, are higher on GT Sport, which makes it closer to photorealism.

without this blur effect, my eyes can focus on the track and read speed dial at the-same-time, which is un-realistic, because in real life, your eyes need time to refocus to nearer object
Could you please redo your GT:S vs pCars 2 comparison? GT:S just added Tire Flex modeling to their tires now and I'm wondering how close GT:S is to pCars 2.

I don't understand, two different games, and most of the people discuting like the games are football teams.
The gt sport is a good game, the licenses bring back the nostalgic GT1, the online is perfect to play with friends and is so organized. I play the beta but I saw that isn't the type of game I like, I prefer simulator. The PC2 is a simulator, to practice and improve techniques for who have a racing wheel. But the online isn't so good.
The two games are incredible, and I want to buy the gt sport to have the two. The industry of the motorsport games are on the top.
It's two incredible games don't make rivalries.

What's up with the hands in GTS? That's not how you hold a steering wheel. Also the sound is way too digital in GTS.

He's holding the wheel the same as project cars 2 they both have paddle shifters.
When racing your thumbs should rest on the wheel and not be tucked in. It's the correct form to reduce the risk of breaking your thumbs in an accident.

PLAY THE GAME GUYS, PCARS" IS EASY 30% BETTER, GTS IS LIKE THE SCENE FROM AN OLD THEATER PLAY, PCARS "IS" LIKE THE REAL THING. Only thing GTS got going for it is the replys, other than that, its like a cardboard cut out, AS I SAID PLAY THE GAME AND YOU WILL UNDERSTAND.

Project cars sound and gt sport graphics and project car gameplay and gt sport enviroment
haveing GtS, Pc2, AssettoC on my PS4 all i can say is they are mostly simmilar, the graphics are ignorable when u drive fast, the sound is kinda anoying in PC2 & GTS, the handling is almost the same yet PC2 is kinda nervouse.
But PC2 has wheater, time, season changes and also a huge selection of tracks and cars.
GTS has more car costumisation, and more interwsting missions.
What a bunch of GT fanboys here. The sound of PrC is obviously more refined and the detail of cockpit is a 1000 times better and more detailed. In this vid the motion blur is on for PrC. You can make out alot more detail if you turn that off like it is in this vid for GT. The GT is just a black outline with a screen in the middle and the sound is just humming.
Pc2 sounds way better.

Project cars 2 is better in almost way...
Gt sport has zero sense or feeling of speed almost feels like you're floating down a straight with no connection to the road and the scenery looks like its in slow motion , the sound is deplorable and artificial, the force feedback (g29 wheel) is comparable to using a pad.. compared to pc2 which feels much more real, the sounds are bang on the mark, force feedback is amazing for a console.. they both have their flaws, pc2 just has A LOT less of them... not to mention gt has a pathetic car and track list... i did like the livery customisation though.. if theres one thing i hate about pc2 its the complete lack of customisation..
If i were to rate them out of 10...

Wow, gt just does nothing for me. Same crap with some shiney new graphics. Sounds, still wrong. Crash physics, still wrong. Campaign, apparently gone! Really disapointed. Love what project cars are doing though.

The Evo X is some made up model GT Bullshit car, it only exists in this game like a lot of the cars in GTS, I want to use cars that are real.
The Evo VI in PC2 is based on a actual REAL car, so it's a automatic win for PC2, I don't care how good GTS looks.
How does GT SPORT look more realistic? To me it looks like a remastered ps3 game , PC2 runs smooth and driving is fluid , even the minor interior details in cock pit view are superior

PC2 is like cartoons when compared to GTSport
In alot of these vs btwn gts and pcars2, gt comes out on top slightly especially when comes to the graphics. However pcars2 does a great job keeping up with the graphics of gts and forza7 when all things considered. dynamic day/night, weather, 30+ cars etc. I'll definitely getting both games.

Nothing ever drastically changes from a beta game to release. Usually what you see is what you'll end up getting.

I was about to call you out on your comment but I thought I had better make sure, and you are correct that the shadows jitter in forza 7 shadows. PC2 seems to be better then both though but I would imagine that is the PC version showing its muscle. It is just so distracting to me in cockpit view, Its the only reason I stopped playing GT5.

Project Cars is NFS Shift, both games are developed by same company, that's why we won't get another shift game, they parted company from EA.
Thank God. What we got out of it was way better than what EA was pumping out.
So... what does that mean, that you play a lot of GT? That you're very partial to the game? Look at the footage, he's showing you right there. If you've never driven a car down a straight away at 130+ mph or through turns at 60+ mph, I can tell you that they don't just glide over the surface road like that. All the roads little dimples and bumps become little miniature launching pads. With a stiff suspension setup, your car pretty much breaks your back as it's constantly trying to keep itself planted. It's a very raw and jerky experience that you can visually see by looking at the movement of the car. PC2 is showing it off better here, where as in GT it barely exists. You can even here the engine's RPM lift/load with the variations of the weight of the car as it drives across the track.
Again 1 : 0 for GT Sport. Sounds way better and looks realistic to me. Looks like that Japanese have a much better sense for aesthetics.

Actually the latest release of GT Sport improved the sound already, make it more detail and realistic. THE ALPHA VERSION OF GT SPORT IS SHIT.

GT sport is oversaturated and the shadow draw distance on those trees is awful, PC2 has a better sound design and a way better handling...
After playing the GTS demo i don’t want Project Cars2 anymore.
I'm totally the opposite. After GT Beta and demo i'm not interested GT (and you have to point out that I'm a fan of GT). Game is not evolving at all, no weather conditions, no day/night, arcady handling, pathetic sound effects, poor content - track list is a bad joke and there is only a few original tracks, much more fictitious visions of makers which i really consider as lousy.
