ABOVE SEATTLE BY DRONE: 4K Cinematic aerial drone city footage was taken with the DJI Mavic 3 drone at dawn on a Sunday. Sunset shots were taken in Bellevue and Redmond, Washington. Thanks for watching!
I have these and I really like them, but they are a major pain in the ass to install! Any chance of a video showing how to install these? I feel like there’s something I’m doing wrong or something I’m missing, because it shouldn’t be this hard. Thanks, and I love the video it’s beautiful! So I subscribed and I’m looking forward to more! Great job!
Sorry about the trouble installing. I also found it difficult at first but after about 20 times, it got much easier. You have to hold the camera very firmly while you twist the Filter on or off. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Thanks. I’ve been to Seattle and would recognize that sunrise anywhere! Is that Mt. Rainier to the south? On a sunny day, I never launch without attaching an ND32 filter.
Thanks and yes, that is Mt. Rainier in the distance. I agree with ND32 for any time I fly towards the sun or want to capture the texture of clouds and water.
That Mavic 3 is a drone monster, excellent footage very professional, thanks for your advice on ND filters, new subscriber to your channel, Greetings from Mexico my friend...
I was testing that sun in the shot today...no filters. I was able to get the starring lines ...and nice clouds but sacrificed the darker landscape below. I def need to step my game up with filters.
Thanks for sharing your experience! ND filters also seem to help get rid of glare when shooting towards the sun. It is easier to color grade, on post editing.
After you attach ND filter, go to White Balance, click Auto, then back to manual. ISO you might not need to change, the lower the better, less grainy than high ISO. Remember to match the Shutter speed to the frames per second, eg for 30 fps, use 1/60 shutter speed, to get motion blurr. Good luck!
