      NO. He trained in World Gym Lake Forest Ca for few months. Sometimes we trained together. Everything was 12 reps six sets every thirty seconds. Sometimes little bit longer. Never did bench more than 220 lbs. In the beginning didn't look very well but after three months OMG. Very heavy French accent. Extremely nice classy guy.

    This explains why he didn’t have much time on screen in Pumping Iron. I think his name was only mentioned once and that was during his pose off routine, so there needed to be a reference to his presence.

    • @Untarai
      @Untarai 7 місяців тому

      You find a weight that you fail at about 22 reps . The use that same weight to start. Do 6 sets of 12 reps and only 30 seconds rest in between sets. When you can do all 6 sets easily and the final set goes to 15 reps, at that point add weight .

Imagine doing surges routine without steroids.... 😅😅😅😅😅 Doing 2 workouts every day 6 days a week with 8 sets per exercise till 12 to 20 reps .... Lol lol lol..... Proof that pump training is just as effective as heavy weight

    • @legendarymuscles
      @legendarymuscles  4 місяці тому

      There isn't necessarily a "proof" that pump training is just as effective as heavy weight training, as effectiveness depends on individual goals and responses. Both methods have their place in a well-rounded training program, and incorporating elements of both can lead to comprehensive muscular development and performance improvements. It's essential to experiment with different training modalities and adjust based on individual responses and goals.

      Cause weider brothers joe and ben were totally corrupt organisation, and racist towards Oliver and Nubret in the seventies those were the only two guys to rival their competitor Arnold and his friend Columbo in those days,black guys were highly disadvantaged because of the corrupt organisation. When NABBA organisation came and started to rival the WEIDER,they had to moderate their rules but still IFFBB members couldn’t compete in the other and visa verse.if one does he is suspended for a time i believe,OLIVER should have won multiple times over ARNOLD I believe in the seventies. The seventy and the eighty Olympia title were the most controversial not to mention 76/81 titles that when to Arnold’s friend when he,Arnold retired in 75 and and quit in 80.both of those following years 76/81 his friend won how handsome,haha?anyone?politics was and still is bloody b/s in every thing.I was a bodybuilder and followed all these guys and loved them all,I sometimes I asked myself how did he pulled that off?anyway that was history, I don’t follow anyone anymore now,just let them inject themselves to death.keep pumping.cheers.
