- Governor Andy Beshear has won re-election to serve the commonwealth of Kentucky for another term, beating out Republican challenger Daniel Cameron, who was endorsed by former President Donald Trump.

The only reason I'd prefer someone else is because Shapiro helps us win PA and Mark Kelly AZ. But I could see how he helps across the rust belt. I just don't know if it's enough to boost him in any one of those states more than Shapiro or Kelly in their respective states.
@@danlopez6960 i would say tho that Kelly was a bit more lack luster/somber than I hoped for. The country, i think, needs excitement, hope, and love. He could be an olive branch to the rust belt to bring some folks back from the hatred of the gop. Also I think any of the ppl we mentioned would do well in all the swing states, they all talk about the same thing, their background, styles, and record are wats different

Watched some of his speeches and he's definitely not particularly charismatic, but early reactions do seem to show older white people and suburbanites really like that he's an astronaut. Plus his wife is Gabby Giffords and that could help with the current discussion around political violence.

@Arguss73 I have to agree with you, Andy Beshear is a great guy. Its quite telling when looking at his ads vs Camerons.
Its sad when you have to commend someone for conceding quickly and with class but I'll give Cameron that, though it should just be the way it is, instead of republicans constantly crying "foul!" .
But its true thats where we are. Beshear ran on policy instead of just attacking his opponent.
We the people of Kentucky have spoken, hopefully Andy keeps up the good work.
