Dope video my brother 👍🏿 And just ordered the PlayStation version a few hours ago & it’ll be here in the morning so I’m pumped but honestly I think Hori makes the best pads for fighting games!!! You just got a new subscriber 👍🏿
@@SnakeDaGreatGaming I really like it but I’m returning it because my thumb keeps hitting the analog stick 😂🤦🏾🤷🏾 I decided to go with the Fighting Commander for the Switch since I have the Brook Wingman FGC adapter for the PS5 & I would’ve went with the PS4 version of the Fighting Commander but Amazon is smoking some serious drugs charging $205 for it 😂😂😂😱😱😱👎🏿
I ordered one hopefully I like it because I have been hearing mixed things about this controller and I hear the D-PAD breaks I forgot to mention to make it easier you should set L2 as L3 and make the L3 simultaneous input, any attack button you press will register as 3 hits so if you press any punch button while holding simultaneous input it will register as 3
I think you should give it a try and if you don’t like it or something happens you have warranty and that’s dope I’ll have to try the L3 trick it sounds fun.
I ordered one. I do have a question. Have you changed the sensitivity with the Hori app? I'm trying to find out what would be the best settings because the D-Pad is very very sensitive. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ((Great review on the controller))
I just got this for ps4 , I use it Atleast once a day for a dramatic battle mode run in street fighter alpha 3 in the Capcom stadium 2 that you can dl off of switch / Ps4 / Xbox . I would update the firmware through the app or PC software that you would be able to get off of Hori’s website for the Octa IMMEDIATELY. Especially if it’s the Xbox version of the controller which some need the update in order to be properly calibrated. Then from there I read this comment off of a few forums which has done me wonders for my PlayStation Octa . . . Drop your cardinal directions by literally 1 increment ! Let your diagonals on your D Pad sensitivity stay to the default ( or loosest ) setting . By doing this it will make it even easier to roll out your diagonal quarter circle , half circle , dragon punches , and charge attacks much much easier. I do amazing in survival alpha 3 with X-ism Balrog with this adjustment to A-ism Ryu partnered with Ken in a dramatic battle run shooting out consistent fireballs to flame 🔥 frame my opponents and deep lounges from across the screen with boxer or even bison with his air diving attacks
I've been too hesitant to get this controller, heard the d-pad is not as good and gives out too easily. It sucks because the only other option for six button controllers on PS5 is the Victrix. I just got the Brooks Wingman FGC converter, gonna see if it works with an 8bitdo six button.
Wuddup bro, how has it been since its been a couple months. I also prefer the stick than dpad so that was cool to hear. Any updates to how u like the controller ?
Hey man , thanks for your review. I have some doubt with the way i should use this controller. Did you keep the default setting ? Or did you mapped the button differently ? Cause I was on ps5 controller before, and it feels so weird to have the HP, HK on face controller and parry and drive impact on rb and Rt. I wonder if i should practice this new setting or if i should map the buttons differently. To be or not to be ? What is your opinion about that ? Thank you^^.
No problem man and yes it feels weird but it takes some time getting used to it but I will drop a video soon showing the way I mapped my controls in which it’s easier to hit EX moves.
@@SnakeDaGreatGaming apparently on the Octa, there were some D pad issues. And Hori released a firmware update to fix them but I’m trying to figure out if that was exclusive to the Xbox controller or did the PlayStation controller also have these issues?
Yes it’s a solid controller for SF6 but only if your used to to playing with 6 front buttons, I would say use the controller that is more comfortable for you.
Come on man, can't have music blowing out the horns and microphone all low, can't hear you without losing my ears to the sound coming right after u talk.

you should have more subs man your video quality is fantastic
Disagree about the sound. It should be stereo and louder.

@@digz7898 yes its cheating and scummy. doesnt work anymore thankfully capgods patched it
Did you download the software update for the d-pad?

The controller is great . I think it’s a great options if you played any of the older consoles back in the day.

Did you have to update the driver to fix the d-pad issue ?
What’s wrong with the D-pad?
