And cheese part comes form rennet that you mixes in to milk or cream curdles... Which sounds disgusting but it's not cheesy just makes a really nice chew and awsome consistent. The idea of Christmas flavored potato chips is so British and so fun! We don’t have that concept really in the US. Our chips stay the same year round. However, popcorn for Christmas is a big thing! Stores sell giant tins covered in cheesy Christmas scenes filled with butter, cheese, or caramel popcorn (or often compartments with each) that people will give to friends or bring to parties. As the child of a teacher, we would sometimes end up with multiple tins of popcorn in the house every year because it was a popular gift for teachers. (My mom also has a massive collection of Christmas mugs and teacher themed ornaments for the same reason.) Now, it’s getting to be a little old-fashioned, but I think making the flavors more creative could make it more popular again. I think we’re all a bit over neon orange colored cheese popcorn.

Jamie, most bacon flavoured crisps are not vegan, they have whey powder in them. which gets on my nerves as both my son and myself cant have them due to milk allergies :(

Love the three bird turkey replacement. Guinea fowl is our chosen Xmas lunch, usually in saffron and ginger sauce, with a (small) amount of boiled potatoes and some special rice (varies from year to year). I never found the recipe: bizarrely, I dreamed it: I do that sort of thing from time to time... This way, you don't end up with kilos of turkey that you get sick of after a few days. Oh, and just to stir up a bit of controversy: I love Brussels sprouts!

As a single person I buy a turkey tenderloin. The package contains two, a pound each (2.2 kg), already marinated. The second can be frozen for later, they are delicious and cook quickly.

I wonder if the gin liquor is aimed at the Asian market? Cuz it REALLY reminds me of lightbulb bubble tea that you'd grab at the Asian Night Market.

I love the idea of the popcorn. I'd probably try to DIY it, because once you nail the spice mix, you can just make a big batch, put it in a shaker, and be set through to Valentine's Day.

I'd personally go for the Christmas Porter.
Either drink it with some meats during dinner, or even drink it almost as a digestif at the end (if Jamie is to be trusted on how strong the flavor is).

Here in the US, ive only heard on pigs in a blanket as a sausage wrapped in a puffed pastry. Sometimes there was bacon in it, but generally not. Interesting that the same name, same idea, different execution.

In the uk we call that a sausage roll. Generally it is a year round snack you get in bakeries. Pigs in blankets are smaller sausages wrapped in bacon and generally only a Christmas thing.
