Also, if you were to catch a slot size fish on your mullet, snag rod, you would not be able to keep him even if you hooked him in the mouth it’s prohibited to use multi hook set ups in conjunction with live bait I know you probably knew that. Just a heads up.
I love how you and the family interacted at the dinner table about the food you prepared. Reminds me of being around my family . I will have to try your Recipe If I land a slot in the last few days of season!
Being the chef that you are,if you still have any snook left,I once had a south African snook BAKED MACADAMIAN ENCRUSTED ,it was off the chain, with some jasmine rice, and a side of honey basil carrots. Best I ever had,I tried to duplicate it, but mine wasn't quite as good. I'm SURE YOU could do an awesome job with this meal. Tight lines and bottoms up my friends cheers to you both!!!!
ANNNNNND……THAT’S why Brook is my girl! All 3 fish were awesome. The same happens with me and my husband…. I catch the most.😜 Girl power🦸🏻♀️🎉🎉🎉🎣 Come on girls…show’ em how it’s done. Vik, you always make breaking down a fish look so easy. His belly is empty, that’s why he got caught. I love all the knowledge you and Brook share also. You can never go wrong with onions and garlic, yum. The best endings are the ones that include family.❤️ Tfs. Have a wonderful afternoon.🤗
Snook are absolutely in my top 5 of fish that I've ever eaten. With that said, I honestly couldn't tell you what is my favorite fish to eat because they're so many good ones but Snook just have that 'it factor". 👍
Great episode. Those big snook are so cool. When I lived in Naples, FL as a teenager we fished in Big Marco pass bumping live shrimp hooked on weighed jigs called troll rites. Caught lots of nice ones. Delicious!
Your videos always rock, as do Brooke's. I love the mix of hardcore fishing and then family time at the end of each video. Even as a biologist I still learn a bit from each video.
I replace the butt tips of all my medium to heavy rods with gimbal inserts. These are available on Amazon or Ebay and really help when fighting a large fish by allowing the use of a belt with a gimbal cup. These gimbals stabilize the rod when fighting a big fish. They eliminate the reel turning left to right and keep spinning reels directly under the rod and conventional reels directly above the rod.
Beautiful snook!!I didn't know you could catch them on the beach. We used to ambush them in the mangroves! One of my favorite fish. You guys are Awesome, great channel😆😆😆😆😆😆
I wanna know... Why on the world haven't you got to a million subscribers..... Your videos are fire af.... When clean the fish you explain better than a teacher..... Ppl subscribe nowwwww!!!!!!😂
Born and raised in florida. I'm still chasing a 42" snook. My pb is 38 1/2". Occasionally I'll target snook. But usually trying to catch snappers and what not as we can't keep snooks in my part of Florida
Vic, can we get more info in each video on the rod/reel/tackle setups? I’m local and really want to get into fishing but struggle with what tackle to buy and what locations to fish. Would be nice to know what was rigged up on your “snag rod” so we can build a similar setup.
You guys should throw a net at the end of the fishing day and brig some of those mullet home and throw them on the smoker. I would so like to try some on my pellet smoker but I can't get fresh ones at a price I can afford. I remember Snook that size when I was a kid. Nice to see the fishery thriving. And as an aside they do get some small Snook up at Topsail Beach in NC. Theory is either eggs come up or some get stuck in the stream and come inshore as it swirls around the Banks.
Hi Victor. I usually watch you on UA-cam on my TV. On the beach video you said that the snook are not allowed to be sold in Florida. I’m from Trinbago in the Caribbean, and snook is a very expensive delicacy there, especially the large ones. They cut the meat in cubes seasoned it in a Chinese seasoning and the fish is eaten raw. It’s sold all around the island. When I was back home, I used to be a fish vendor.
Hey I heard what you said about your allergies and I also had the same issues the same way. Grew up with dogs never allergic then late teens I’d get flu like allergies. I fixed it three years ago with diet. I starting fasting everyday and no longer have allergies. It’s a reaction to not being insulin free for long periods of time.
i just hooked a 13’ mako out at san clemente island last week deep dropping for tuna 😂 …I just wish he wasnt snagged because I couldn’t stop him on a talica 12 full drag spooled me on over 700 yards
14:15 yeah basically getting in the water and a self release is considered a catch as well, correct, I'm sure you and us as well would have liked to seen the first one 😢😂, but things happen
I'm allergic to dogs and cats too but I went to an allergist and now I'm good. I just have to take some medication daily but I now own both. Love your vids btw. you have taught me a lot about fishing. Would love to see you do some fishing in Padre or some fresh water stuff in Texas.
This fish can be bought in some farmers market in Atlanta, but it’s labeled as Robalo and comes from South America. What’s interesting is 3 US navy submarines have been named for this species
I’m from NC and I saw a small family owned fish market that was selling fish from freshwater and saltwater fish they caught, and I noticed that they were selling a few baby snook that were under 16 inches! And I was like is that even legal? 😯 Must’ve snook them in the bucket no pun intended. I guess people try to get away with selling little ones, probably because they feel like its easier hide them.
Do you get a winter out there? Its an amazing looking place is love to be there now, I don't know I'd everyone would agree but in the uk it feels like it went from summer straight into winter overnight skipped autumn altogether. We so get some different fish come in from deeper waters in the winter and catch some big cat sharks and cod but it's braving the almost freezing night time winds that probably drop below due to wind chill factor but if you can do that (a bottle of brandy in my 2 man tent on the pier helps) your in for some potentially brilliant fish, never drink too much it's Purley medicinal I'd never get drunk fishing anytime too dangerous.
Use code LANDSHARK50 to get 50% off your first Factor box at bit.ly/3OUc5Fg
factor has lab grown meats vick. look into it. God bless you and family
Snook is not 28 to 32 it’s 28 to 33
Also, if you were to catch a slot size fish on your mullet, snag rod, you would not be able to keep him even if you hooked him in the mouth it’s prohibited to use multi hook set ups in conjunction with live bait I know you probably knew that. Just a heads up.
We need a alligator video
Get something like a Portuguese water dog they do not have fur they have hair. Look into hyper allergenic dogs see if that will work for you.👍😀
Looks like Victor has been skipping the fishing trips and instead hitting the gym 😆
Fr
Facts. My guy's addicted to the pain, lol.
Vic is shredded
He’s been ripped
Lol Viktors been hitting the gym since before the article of him on the local 10! But for real your looking shredded very impressive

Grew up in Deerfield Beach, never had snook. Looked great! Beautiful meal with family. Be thankful!
Well done Vik! I always love the cooking portion of your vids! 🙌
Snook are absolutely in my top 5 of fish that I've ever eaten. With that said, I honestly couldn't tell you what is my favorite fish to eat because they're so many good ones but Snook just have that 'it factor". 👍

What’s your gear rundown for the mullet run ? Rod, reel, lb test etc ? Great videos man keep ‘em coming ✌🏾🤙🏾
Gear run down on getting jacked * lol
Your videos always rock, as do Brooke's. I love the mix of hardcore fishing and then family time at the end of each video. Even as a biologist I still learn a bit from each video.
You have my dream job
Very well produced video and cinematography! Informative I Enjoyed!!!
Great beach fishing. Congratulations Victor and 20:43 . 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷

That water is so blue. Gorgeous
Once again thank you for sharing. The meal looked so good.

26:30 I never seen rice cooked like that way before, hopefully I can try it out myself one day
Viktor! For those who are interested it would have been useful to see how your snook rig looked like.
Are you located in south Florida? If not then when is the mullet run for south FL
Beautiful snook!!I didn't know you could catch them on the beach. We used to ambush them in the mangroves! One of my favorite fish. You guys are Awesome, great channel😆😆😆😆😆😆
I feel like Vic’s been secretly waiting for an excuse to show off those muscles in action. Looking lean and ripped!
Love ya Brooke from a fellow fisher-woman
Snook is very common in the caribbean too,
Bow to the silver king 🔥
waiting on your catch and cook cookbook lol *stomach growls lol
She caught three Snook, Boy! Oh Boy! She knows what she is doing, Go Girl!
Love the drone footage
Great job and nice fish
Excellent from the fishing to the cooking great video and the editing top grade well done
Jheez looking shredded man
Gotta say you feed your in-laws well, great fishin Brooke. Great video Vic
Wouldn't the Snook caught on the snag line be illegal to harvest since it was treble caught?
Another excellent video! Looked like a very fun day and the meal really looked delicious. Tight lines ❤️🎣
I wanna know... Why on the world haven't you got to a million subscribers..... Your videos are fire af.... When clean the fish you explain better than a teacher..... Ppl subscribe nowwwww!!!!!!😂
Nice leg works on the sand there! Mmmm. Can't go wrong when you're hooked😮❤
I live too far up the East Coast to have had Snook, but judging by this video you've outdone yourself cooking this meal...!!!!!
@2:15 Which lens is that? The footage looks great!
They are plentiful this time of year in the Caribbean - esp in Trinidad. We have 4 types with no restrictions on sale etc.
Born and raised in florida. I'm still chasing a 42" snook. My pb is 38 1/2". Occasionally I'll target snook. But usually trying to catch snappers and what not as we can't keep snooks in my part of Florida
That new lense is bad ass %100 👍🏻👍🏻
Love those mullet run videos!!! Your hyping me up for the striper run about to start up north!
Video is amazing. Love the mullet action!!!
👍💯👍

Great video and gj on keeping up with working out, looking ripped. Hoping I can get more dedicated to that in the next few years
Great video Victor. Thanks!
😂As a grumpy old man in the north east, I hate you 😂 tight lines and screaming drags

I love your videos man keep doing what you’re doing 🎣🎣
10:50 and that's why they say don't get to excited until the fish is on the boat/land/bucket, 😂👍 it happens

Welcome to the channel Denis !!!!!
i just hooked a 13’ mako out at san clemente island last week deep dropping for tuna 😂 …I just wish he wasnt snagged because I couldn’t stop him on a talica 12 full drag spooled me on over 700 yards
New lens looks 🔥🔥🔥
This is incredibly awesome. Can you please share the location of the beach?
The Location of a beach is where Land meets the Sea...
Fun video guys. Awesome
That outing looked like so much fun!
14:15 yeah basically getting in the water and a self release is considered a catch as well, correct, I'm sure you and us as well would have liked to seen the first one 😢😂, but things happen
Great video as always!! Why do you jab out the eye of the fish after you clean it? I've never done that before.
Always great to watch vids of the massive fish you catch and cool to see fish that we cant catch in the uk
Greetings, seniors from Indonesia, greetings fellow anglers, thank you for the great fishing video
👍I enjoyed the video, you know sometimes, we can't stand hour long videos 30 minute videos, then sometimes we ask for longer videos, nice video
yeahhhh buddy! was just out there insane right now in Laudy
Gotta get a Mexican hairless doggo Vic! 😌👍🏽 They’re awesome! ✊🏽☮️
Excellent job!
Poodles are hypoallergenic... Don't know if that'd be a good option for you but you'll have zero allergic reactions to them.
Man this dude can cook!!!!
Legend do some over spontaneous stuff like 24 hour catch and cook on a island or something your killing it in yt bro 💯💪
I'm allergic to dogs and cats too but I went to an allergist and now I'm good. I just have to take some medication daily but I now own both. Love your vids btw. you have taught me a lot about fishing. Would love to see you do some fishing in Padre or some fresh water stuff in Texas.

Love you videos, what beaches are best for snook fishing?
I’m not a big salad person but your salads always look amazing
what an insane video bro! In what state of the tide do you usually fish on beaches like this? full or dry? following here from Brazil! 🤜🏾🤛🏾
Seems like I am blessed to have eaten snook then. I had some in a Trinidad restaurant, beautiful taste.
I’m from NC and I saw a small family owned fish market that was selling fish from freshwater and saltwater fish they caught, and I noticed that they were selling a few baby snook that were under 16 inches! Awesome video victor as always!! I'm taking a trip to the east coast soon which beach do your recommend to go to to target the mullet pods?
Bro, you are good, really good, keep it up, 👌
What kind of gear you running? (Not talking about fishing) 😮
