On being suicidal, this is what I wrote on my social media a few months ago and set its visibility to Only Me:
"My support does not matter. My likes don't matter. The way social medias work - they turn it all into mere statistics. A mere number.
And the people, they assume that I must be 'evil' and 'useless' just because I don't have a friend.
People show sympathy to suicidal people only once they have committed suicide. Otherwise, whenever they see a lonely figure online, they scorn." End quote.
As someone who's become a complete shut-in (a hikikomori) and lost the opportunity to make new friends IRL, sometimes it frustrates me that the way social medias work, they further ostracize lonely, depressed, suicidal people who have too much dignity to cry pain and thus act all normal.

when you tell a rock x1000 a day it's a pillow, it will think it's a pillow, so much so that it'll expect to be slept on.
if you tell your child or sibling x1000 a day that he/she is worthless, they'll do what worthless people do and end their life.
Toughening your youth doesn't require degrading them. It requires supporting them.
oh ummah, support your spouses in order to support your children. a supported generation is what's needed to lift the ummah back up to the Deen, because the Deen is never going to lower itself to a weak ummah, an ummah needs to climb up to it.

I agree with shaikh yasir that depression is exponentially rising in younger generation and one of the main main main reasons is not understanding the sole of imaan...I would say a person with solid imaan can be sad at times but he can never be depressed because he strongly believes in the qadr and what ever loss or gain is happening is due to the qadr of allah and he strikes an acceptance with that....when this happens there is hardly any chance to go in for depression..
I request all my brothers and sisters in deen to concentrate on the upbringing of children in accordance with the teachings of prophet pbuh and fill their life lives with imaan...Get them married early dont leave them wandering...insha allah we will have a soceity to show the world that this is islam and we have the lowesttt suicide rates

JazakAllah khair we are very to hear that such a tragedy has befallen the people of the past, but the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, reminded the muslim peoples that they remain vigilant after seeing so much harm including the women may Allah grant our mothers and sisters of taqwa the highest reward in jannah adn and there is much to learn from history for our own development. So called pax-Mongolia started in action very rainy in the 13th century ad. And Allah reminded me in the Book that he sent His own army to destroy the house of Israel, meaning including the weather condition for the people that wants as a means to prosperity and He was in control of human history. African American are well aware of this history 📒

Genghis Khan had an insight from Allah that it is the laws of a civilization that makes or breaks that civilization. So, he created his own laws to build his civilization, and then when he found a civilization that did not obey its own laws (the Muslim civilization), he concluded that this is a civilization that could be broken and since this civilization, our Muslim civilization, could be broken, he concluded that it should indeed be broken because there can be no place on this earth for a civilization that does not have laws or does not obey its laws, and that realization and conviction came to him from none but our God, Allah the Almighty. Genghis Khan was indeed Allah's wrath on us. So, for us Muslims, there is a lesson here and we should learn from it and then apply it :)

That's highly exaggerated. The mongols suffered some deafeats in Hungary too eventually.
They planned on expanding further into Europe, but the death of the current Khan and the resulting power struggle of who's going to be the successor had changed their priorities.
Remember that the Mamlucks waged war agsinst the Ilkhanate, the successor state of the Mongols, which ruled over the Middle East and Persia. It was the Golden Horde, the other successor state, which was threatening Europe after it had already brought large swaths of modern day Russia and Ukraine under their control.
The Mamluk defeat of the Ilkhanate had no effect on the Golden Horde.

I'm just wondering, covering your head in masjid is matter of Adab. Especially if the imam doesn't do it, how can we expect our kids to practice it? Imam is an example to the younger generation, just wondering why so many have discarded this adab. Isn't adab a big part of our deen? Earlier scholars have said, manners come before knowledge. Al Salaam Alaikum , lawyers criminal corruption in family courts lead to a portion of male suicide. So as a researcher I witnessed the unconstitutional militarization against family disputes , sometimes families have life long disagreements and struggle with it but courts intervene and make these disputes criminal acts. I once knew a woman who kids were late to school and state ordered kids must be on time for school. I baby sat those boys and they were not easy to wake.
Then we have situation of pedophilia where women are penalized for mentioning father abuse of children. And there is media propaganda to pretend women lie often about pedophilia. How many women and men have contemplated attempted or committed suicide due to Lawyering in US and because of family court judges who are state sanctioned pimps, child sellers.
This is in comment to suicide problem in US. US has made pornography lawful but it's unlawful to be homeless our society is sick hence suicide rates !

No, some scholars of Ahlussunnah considered him as a person with deviant ideas, but many scholars of Ahlussunnah called him 'Shaykhul Islam'. Famous scholars praised him include, Ad-Dhahabi, Ibn Kathir, Ibn Rajab, As-Suyuthi, Mulla Ali al Qari etc( Rahimahullah ajma'een).
Scholars like Ibn Hajar al Haythami criticized him but comparing to the one praised him is negligible
