Were any of the menu items you got an upcharge? Or was it all included? Also wondering if you order a burger at any of the restaurants or room , pool or Beach service, will they do it in a lettuce wrap instead of a bun?

Now I do not know about the lettuce wrap, never asked for that option, but they are very accommodating, so if it is within their reach, I pretty sure the staff will. We have never needed to pay an uncharge on anything, but if you order some specialty alcohol, may be~~~? I don't know, there is only one restaurant that you need to pay extra for, at least when we were there, and it was the Maria Dolores, which requires reservation. But then again, we went back in 2021, so please check the resort website or FB group

Is this a newer resort? It's featured on Costco right now and your videos are making me want to pull the trigger on a package!
Hi, first of all, thanks for dropping by :) and yes the resort is pretty new, opened in April 2019, but the pandemic forced it to close for more than 6 months, so a year and a half or so, still very new, all the furniture and facilities are very new, and the services was top notch. And from what I can tell, Costco travel has the best deal by far, so you won't go wrong with it. You can also check out my other vids about this place 😉👍

Planning to go to Atelier next year. How did you decide on the restaurants that you tried? ie: Mercado 19 , Suspiro, Los Abrazos? What about cilento/takeshi/la consentida?
if you are going to the Atelier side which is the adult-only side, then I'd like to say you are in great hands, even down to the taco bar. I did not plan anything, I sort just made it my mission to try every one of them and if I liked them then i'd go back for more lol. And I end up loving all of them, but what you need to look out for is some of the restaurants only serve certain meals, like when I was there, Los Abrazos is only for dinner, and Mercado 19 is only for breakfast and dinner, etc. La Consentida is in the Estudio side I think, and yes you do have access to it, but I'd skip all Estudio side of restaurants, not that they are bad, just that Atelier side is so much better. Myself is not big on Italian food, so though I did try Cilento for lunch, but I thought it was just ok, maybe is what I ordered, and I do see a lot of people tried it and loved it. We skipped Takeshi simply because we are from NYC and tekashi's menu doesn't really impress us that much, again, not to say they are not good, simply we want to try something more eye-catchy I guess.
Regardless of what you choose, I'm sure you will have a fantastic time, and there are also several FB groups that offer plenty of tips and advice to make your preparation, so you can have a wonderful vacation experience. Again thanks for commenting and best wishes for your vacation.
