Ok but he's totally neurodivegent as fuck I think coffee would make it Worse
@@talksalot7562 Saying that because the poor man looks like he's gonna fall over at any second.
Honestly I was not expecting this adorable cinnamon roll when Dana said quote on quote “he’s...interesting”, and also o the fact that we mostly went off of Amity’s mom that we just assumed both of them were bad but he’s not bad he just gets pushed around!
Is it me or Emira resembles her mother the most and Edric resembles his farther the most?
And amity is just trapped between the both of them
@@marcfals2449 I feel like amity got much of her personality from the books she reads, as we know she likes to sneak away to the library. Though, I think she got the hardworking and competitive part of her personality from her parents.
Let Eric eat snow
THEY FORESHADOWED HIS MASK BEING HIS PALISMAN WITH THE TAIL WAG. HOW DID WE NEVER THINK OF THIS!?
Blight dad feels like he hasn’t seen the sun in a while since you know how he turns into a werewolf
I know for a fact you saw a comic where he's a warewolf but yes, look at this poor man's skin, I can tell his somewhat of a chill push over but powerful when he wants to
As soon as i saw him appear on screen he was instantly my favorite character.
It's so sweet he's so fascinated by the wildlife maybe he wanted to go into beast-keeping instead of abominations
He is an engineer, maybe hes just a naturally curious person whos always wondering how things work.
But do to a decision he made as a stupid teenager (which he most definitely was, don't try and convince me otherwise) his magics been stuck to abomination, which after seeing the same thing over and over again would definitely get tiring.
@@amfstudios8695 my guess is he wanted to be a beast keeper but was pushed onto the abomination tract like Willow was.
That's a cute theory!
Alador gives me adhd vibes, and I have it. The zoning out when he notices something he's interested in, intense focus on his work (though odalia might have a hand in that.)

Fun Fact: Amity's voice actress also voiced Tinkerbell and Katara (from Avatar the last Airbender)
Omg
And Heather from "Dragons: Race to the Edge".
I didn't realize Tinkerbell was in avatar
She was also in The Duff, Parenthood, and Good Girls. She is a phenomenal actress on and off screen
If she voiced katara then she was also Roxie Richter from Scott pilgrim right?
Alador is like the chill and nice parent
Alador looks like someone who hasn't gotten sleep or a shower in several days because he's tunnel visioning on one project.
Can relate...
you can really see where Ed gets his personality from. I love him and the golden guard person ngl

I love how we all expected Amity's dad to be some sort a greedy businessman type, meanwhile we got this
I'm not complaing tho, he's adorable
The moment with amitys dad in the flash back in understanding willow makes me think that we doest care but he just goes along with his wife
You know it actually makes sense, cause when you look at edric he acts exactly like him, he got his ditzy traits from alador.
Alador, the definition of True Neutral
aight hes on my redemption arc list if that crazy woman of his gets too far with power, cuz my theory that alador came from a regular family

I expected him to be more stern and intimidating but honestly hes just a goofball-
Don’t let the adorableness distract you from what happened in “Understanding Willow”
It’s mostly odalia she gets most of the say in stuff like that
That hasn’t been forgotten, but given what we’ve seen here, his wife is the one who’s more controlling and cruel here. Granted, it’s too soon to draw any conclusions, but so far it’s looking like she has all the say and power in what goes whilst he lets her have her way, which would make him more to blame if anything for being a doormat and not standing up for his kids.
@@robbieking4070 imo I think at the time of Understanding Willow, Alador was just like Odalia, but over time he just stopped caring and became a doormat
Tbh I think what happened on Understanding Willow was on Amity's perspective on the memory. Much like to Willow's case to Amity's. We also shouldn't forget that Dana said on her AMA that Alador is an interesting character, meaning there is something more to him than what meets the eye.
@@uncle_pepe14 he used to be like Odalia but then he was like "what the fuck am I even doing?" And decided to not care about life anymore

amity gets her personality from her father while edric and emira take there's from there mother. GO ALADOR
Edit: THANKS FOR ALL THE LIKES 👍
With the whole “let Edric eat the snow” thing I feel he gets his from a mix of both parents
Well en and Ed like chaos and amity likes order
I think amity is becoming more like her father throughout the series though
Also I love that Amity is the only Blight child who has the hair roots like her father but paints It green to be more like her mother. Probably some childhood pressure thing. Love the visual symbolism there
@@kiroreo you are right actually. Dana confirmed that the reason why amity has green hair is due to her mother. She wanted Amity to “fit” with the rest of her children.....yeah
@@kiroreo it's more like Odalia makes her dye it green as opposed to being a personal choice
Now I understand why the son of the Blight family was acting the way he was in that season 1 episode when they were training on the giant's knee. Like father like son.
He is just the best
I have not seen the episode yet (I'm waiting for the Disney Channel Premiere), but I will say this: I can see why Dana Terrace said that Alador was fun to write. He's adorably oblivious and yet he's smart/wise when needed. I'm sucker for those kinds of characters.
I see where Edric got it from
He seems like the kind of dad who tells you "go ask your mother" as he works in the basement on his train set
