For the love of minecraft PLEASE TAKE THE DARK OAK SAPPLINGS OFF THE SINGLE BLOCKS.
You need 4 sapplings for them to gtow

Also if you make wooden bowls you don't need to slaughter the mooshrooms.
Hit them like you would regular cows with a bucket. Infinite mushroom soup
