Just a quick note, despite what you see in tv shows and video games, flicking the cylinder shut has a chance of severely damaging the gun, as the cylinder mechanism is quite delicate and flicking it shut with such force can break the mechanism and make it difficult for the cylinder to be opened and closed
I agree close the cylinder using your thumb,Hickok 45 would not be happy with you

hey while i still like the gun. its not very powerful or accuarte when compared to some other pistols i own. but its really fun to shoot a nice replica and loading the shells is fun. its a plinker. not sutible for serious tartget shooting and deff not hunting. thanks for watching please subscribe

I just ordered one recently and decided to search for videos about it. It's good to know the Gamo red pellets work well in that since I already have some for my gamo rifle.

Hi , i just bought this gun too. The accuracy leaves much to be desired , but its an easy to load , solid gun. What ya lose in accuracy , it makes up for, in quality craftsmanship. I dont see this gun ever breaking down ! It's heavy & well made....let's just hope the small game stands still for 3-6 shots b4 ya hit it , lol.

The accuracy is bad because it is an snubnose and the barrels short
You got a great close out price onn that Replica revolver.
You should never flick your wrist to close the cylinder Hollywood style.
You would be surprised how easy it is to knock the cylinder crane out of alignment.
You could also damage the hand that turns the cylinder and the bolt that stops it.
I believe this Air gun sells now for $79.99
I carry one of these with some special steel tip pellets for self defense/deterrent.
I had one before and it was stolen but I got another ans I'm always impressed by the quality, handling and weighting of it. Solid shooter

Great video ppdangelr. This is the exact same gun as the 'Dan Wesson' branded one made by Umarex. There's an obvious difference in the finish but that aside they are identical. That being the case, it's easy to increase the FPS with this....

I looked at the specs on this and the barrel is not rifled, so yeah the pellets will tumble and not fly straight....
It’s inaccurate because of the smooth non-rifled barrel
My safety was hard to get undone at first too. I thought I had bought a defective one

Okay, so I'm getting this gun for revolver speed practice and this kills me man. 1 NEVER EVER slam the cylinder shut its bad for it and can mess up the timing, also this really should be #1 get that booger hook off that trigger until ready to fire. Even tho this is a bb gun it can be dangerous and that's one thing that should still be taken serious as if it was a firearm
Just getting into airguns and I don't wanna have to wait on shipping and whatnot so I've got to go with the Wally world. Saw this gun and the 40xp for fairly reasonable prices. But I couldn't find any good sr357 or 40xp reviews (a majority of the 357 reviews were in a different language) and then BOOM! I find your channel👍👍

I walked 4 miles up to ace .an got mine it came in a box .use rock salt instead of the ammo.very effective.

Pellet gun or not keep your finger out of the trigger guard when handling it.
$50.00 for the crossman revolver, $20.00 for the CO2 Cartridges. Or $80.00 For a 22lr Rough rider & $7.00 for 50 rounds.
I think the 22 would be a better option. However in the City a BB/Pellet Gun Would be the best option for target shooting in the backyard. Great Video. .thanks for going over everything. Peace..

You called the cylinder release button a selector switch. Just note that a selector switch is a switch that changes from semi automatic to fully automatic on an M16.
Flipping the cylinder closed, or what's called a 'Hollywood Close" is a good way to damage a revolver. Air gun or powder burner.

It's accuracy is not that bad for such a small barrel. I can consistently hit small tins from 20 ft away with it, firing one handed without my other arm bracing all while standing
I was looking at one of these yesterday I decided to go home and think about wether to buy it or not. Now my mind is made up and I might go but it today thanks

If you haven’t figured it out you pull back on the hammer and then push safety to fire
I have a Crosman SNR357 aswell, and mine involves me having to push the cylinder out while holding the cylinder release forward. Does yours have this same trouble? Does it require some type of lubricant?
It’s good to lubricate but yes that’s normal

Quick tip everybody, don’t flick the cylinder, it damages the gun. People really only do this in movies. Toy or not, don’t flick the cylinder.

You can shoot bb’s out the pellet rounds. I prefer it to the actual bb rounds.

I know this isn't relevant but I was recently told to use plumbers tape on the tip of the CO2 cartridge to provide a longer lasting seal.....

Joshua Kim one of the drawbacks this model has is that the hammer tends to be a bit loose, or some times even a bit sticky. It's a minor one though, and the hammer still functions well regardless. It will hold secure on safety, and cock, or repeat on fire.
Well the longer your barrel the more accurate it would be...
