It's because of the trash talk he did before this fight. If he was more respectful I believe his image would still be good. He was clearly being beaten from pillar to post, exhausted, and still throwing back some heavy shots, and people would've acknowledged it if he wasn't overlooking kattar like he was trash before the fight

Great fight. Way more competitive in the first 2 then I originally thought but damn, Kattar showing why you can’t skimp on that game roadwork.
Бой который показывает что не стоит переоценивать бойца который с сильными бойцами ещё не дрался и нормально не показал себя.
С Хамзатом тоже также было все думали что он переедет Бёрнса как и всех но нет.
Но всё равно выйграл красава.

Мне вообще не нравится, что Хамзата сразу на топовых бойцов дивизиона бросают. Могут поломать всю карьеру так. Вон Омели видишь как вели долго, осторожно, не спеша, пока он не набрался опыта, не прибавил навыков. Хотя, Хамзат и сам торопит события...

This fight showed the difference between a talented prospect and an elite. Giga didnt know how to plant his feet and hold his ground while fighting off the back foot, kattar got him moving back clinched him, grinded him and smashed him into defeat. Giga needs to learn tactics to deal with pressure fighters, seemed as though noones ever backed him up in his life.

yeah don't be fooled by the scorecards. Kattar took hard shots in the first two rounds. Kattar was hurting after the fight. You could see it in his interview.
@@afarber87the second round is the only one where giga had any sort of success, but then in that one, he just landed one significant strike more than Kattar, and he was busted up way more. Kudos to giga's cut man though, cleaned him up well. Kattar was exhausted for sure, but he never was hurt badly, while giga looked messed up and was wobbled every round except the first

I can't completely understand the commentators. i mean kelvin was better, but giga also is throwing good shots, the sig strikes are close, not one sided fight except in the 10 seconds of the final round. seems like it was a one sided fight because kelvin was not completely reacting the pain on account of his toughness. but it was actually a competitive fight.
Bruh by the fourth round, Calvin had thrown almost 40 more significant strikes against giga. And they were clearly doing more damage.

За трэшток надо отвечать, хотя он и сейчас много говорит. Вызывает Макса на бой, хочет получить в 2-3 раза больше урона?
Потушил Хайп-трейн Гиги. Как боец хорош гига но Максимум Топ 5. Чемпионом не быть ему.

Самая главные ошибки Гиги:
1. Работал без блока все раунды
2. Не пытался бороться, а ведь было очень много моментов где можно было ловить Катара на ошибках. Но ничего я уверен вернётся сильнее🇬🇪💪🏼

Chikadze should work on his elbow game. His would probably be more devastating than Kattar's as they're sharper and come to more of a point
Calvin has the better timing. Giga is explosive but his background is in kickboxing. He's not a counterstriker but an offensive kicker by and large
Arnold Allen vs Calvin Kattar. I’m betting Arnold Allen by Ko. When giga would stand southpaw he was having success with lead hooks & straight lefts. Examples 6:23 6:45 7:04 7:16 8:15 10:11. When giga would move latterly in a southpaw stance, Kattar wasn’t able to find his right hand. Examples 9:53 6:36 8:27 9:00 23:21

This was a great fight. Both these guys are clearly warriors. Both also look pretty strong and solid but both were clearly starting to gas out by the start of round three. I wonder if they would do better moving up to lightweight so that they don’t have to dehydrate themselves to the point of ketosis just to make featherweight
