I absolutely love that extra "why?" Lesley added early on in the song in between verses, to the point that I miss it when listening to the original. Her willingness to play around with her old hits (and improve on them!) is one of the things I love about Lesley. R.I.P. my favourite singer and songwriter, so underrated.
LOVED her - just cannot believe she is gone, I just saw her literally months ago - she was in great voice and put on an excellent show as always - R.I.P. to my secret crush as a kid -
She was still singing great just a year and a half before her death from lung cancer. She had so much charisma and found such joy in singing. This is really sad.
I fortunately got to meet Lesley for a few minutes in 2013. She snuck up to the balcony to watch Petula Clark performing. I had to look for a few minutes to be sure that it was her. I didn't expect it.
I met her in San Francisco in I think 2006 when she was doing a release tour for her new album. What a thrill that was. She was totally down to earth, a real sweetheart. Gosh, do I miss her.
Excellent show, too bad the back up vocals are so poor, what do I say, terrible. But Lesley Gore née Goldstein clearly was happy to be there. With some strong female vocalists in stead of that bunch of idiots, this would have been a great show. Wow, 50 years in business. Sad she died too soon !

Leslie Gore's prologue is so genuine! Entertaining music from a good storyteller! "Bitchiest song of the 60's" so funny :)

I see age is not a factor her
Not as good as it’s my party and you don’t own me
Love this of Lesley, but whoever is attempting harmony and being a backup singer is off key and very distracting! Lol
How people age and get ugly.
What a dumb thing to say I hope when you get older you are uglier
