would be interesting how many charging cycles each of these phones have before the battery has degraded to a point where you can't effectively use the phones anymore. It's hard to make batteries that have a short charging time, high capacity and a lot of charging cycles so manufacturers have to make trade offs to favor one or two of those qualities.
These tests are really important and Im glad you decided to do these test. Maybe you could expand these tests and have a leader board maybe based on overall speed of charging and or based on battery capacity or based on screen size. Thanks. 😊

I have had an iPhone 7 Plus, and use it very heavily, and, let me tell you, I have NEVER ever had to charge it during day, it has a battery that lasts about 10 hours.

How can you include the iphone 7 and 8 and then only include the plus model for the Galaxy? Why not include the Galaxy s7 or s8 for people who don't go for the larger size phones? I have OnePlus 5 for like 2+ months now and I love it.. not only because of the battery or camera.. but what you get in total for its price - 499 EURO amazing phone for a very good price. Its thin, it has a pretty large screen (not too large), super good camera, lots of RAMS so it runs quick af, nice design (pretty much copied from iphone 7 lmao, but who cares lol), good battery life AND good price.. what more you need from a phone. All of them does same shit tbh so why overpay?

i use it most of the time for spotify, Instagram and whatsapp, and amazone prime. dont play much games on it. but if i would watch a movie on amazon prime by using wifi it would last only about 3 hrs too, but this isnt really normal usage

Maybe the title or term wasn't right for this video, but most of the people probably got what they want to see. Another useful infos from the video is probably to let the manufacturer to know how big the capacity of the battery need to cope with the inefficiency of their phones (with such processor and screen size, etc), increase the capacity of the battery is always the simplest way to let the phone wakes longer.

my old iphone 6 still can be used for about 9- 14h :D it is all about the way you use it
i use it most of the time for spotify, Instagram and whatsapp, and amazone prime. dont play much games on it. but if i would watch a movie on amazon prime by using wifi it would last only about 3 hrs too, but this isnt really normal usage
Justin Lao I think the video failed to note purchase date. As newer phones have not experienced heavy heating, the battery has not worn out as much as the older phones.
Just love the new iPhone X and it’s features, would be lucky enough to get an hands on experience with the device and also would be a major upgrade as iPhone X is just a dream phone to have.

Stock android and IOS are both the best OS's around. I prefer stock android but both are smooth. The OP5 actually beats the Iphone X in speed tests which is quite surprising.
That is true.. if you eliminate having the flash on and have your brightness all the down (or close to) like I always do, then it would easily last you through a day unless you’re on it for 6 hours straight

Well, people buy Apple products for their great customer services like AppleCare, their software is more efficient, secure and is better accommodated for their devices, they have more access to third party accessories, and they are simply much more reliable overall compared to Android, its like basically comparing Toyota to the likes of Land Rover, which in this case, Apple is Toyota and the Android smartphones are Land Rover.
Toyota/Apple may not have always the greatest and latest tech present in their devices/cars compared to Land Rover/Androids, but they sure can make a comeback in reliability and a far superior customer satisfaction, even just look it up, Toyota and Apple are in the top 5 most popular brands in the world, i'm not making things up, and they sure are popular due to several obvious reasons.

2. iPhone 7 = 0.09 Minutes per mAh (Second smallest battery, second best efficency)
3. iPhone 8+ = 0.08 Minutes per mAh (Third biggest battery, second worst efficiency)
4. One Plus 5 = 0.08 Minutes per mAh (Second biggest battery, second worst efficiency)
5. Galaxy S8 = 0.07 Minutes per mAh (Biggest battery, worst efficiency)

Consumer only care about how long the phone can stay awake, not the efficiency of the battery. Maybe the title or term wasn't right for this video, but most of the people probably got what they want to see. Another useful infos from the video is probably to let the manufacturer to know how big the capacity of the battery need to cope with the inefficiency of their phones (with such processor and screen size, etc), increase the capacity of the battery is always the simplest way to let the phone wakes longer.
