Didn't you notice Primordial Blue "Rain" in the reporter's side how calm she is when fire attack approaching, i bet Diablo already sense her but decided to not give mind. Bloody Shore incident or the Lakeshore dyed Scarlet.

I did notice the blue haired reporter and how she didn't react to the fire. However I didn't know who it was. It felt like an important character.
It being the blue Primordial makes sense. Guy during Walpurgis he deduced that Nior was in service to Rimuru. That peaked his interest and makes sense that he would send them out to do some recon.
She is likely going to report back to him what she has learned. Not only is Nior serving Rimuru but Rimuru named him too. Guy is likely going to have some things to say about that.

I had seen her but it never occurred to me that it was Raine. It prompted me to go back and get a good look at her face and hair last season, then study the reporters. She doesn't appear in the very first scene of reporters but she does appear in all or most every scene with reporters thereafter. Even in distance views, her hair is the only one that stands out. It's too obvious to be random. And it really does look like her. Strangely, this isn't mentioned in the light novels. Interesting touch. It doesn't seem hugely significant, but maybe it is, I don't know.

I was hesitant to believe it was her at first too. But a couple of things convinced me.
      1. Look how every reporter is scared as shit when the spell is flying at them, but she gave 0 shits 🤣
      Spoiler:
      2. We know for a fact that this is exactly the kind of work she would do for Guy. And we also know it is highly likely Guy would be keeping tabs on both Rimuru and Diablo.
Also I just love the idea of this being Rain. With her personality I can just imagine all the sulking about this she is doing! And I imagine instead of taking any notes she is just doing art whilst she watches. I love her character 😍

My Demon Cheat Sheet I compiled yesterday.
For Demons, the terminology is not what they use in the official English translation of the light novels. Beginning with Archdemons:
    1. Archdemons-- get and maintain one's magicule capacity to the maximum. Demons have a set limit.
    2. Demon Lord (meaning Demon Lord Seed or Factor)-- maintain that maximum level for 2000 years without dying. Can now manifest Demon Lord Presence (this is Lord's Ambition).
    3. Daemon Lord (aka Demon Peer) . A trigger is necessary. At least in Diablo's case his naming brought him here. He says there's not much difference between 2 and 3.
    4. True Demon Lord (awakened Demon Lord, Devil Lord). It's the souls. This is Guy's level.
Note: True strength depends on age as well.
Note 2: This is the path (except the last one) that Diablo took. Naming could occur earlier or later, and Step 2 is not a requirement for Step 3, but it is for Step 4. You can also evolve if your boss evolves.
Note 3: Some evolutions are just higher within the same level. Demon Peers have several named levels, such as Baron, Count, Duke, etc.

"Lake Shore Dyed Red" is a story happened in the East Empire. To put it simply, Blanc/White did what the title said out of grief and rage. Dyed the Lake Shore with Red (iykyk) claiming the lives of both innocent and guilty.
I'm hoping they would elaborate the story in Blanc's introduction. Cause that story is somehow as beautiful as it is really dark.

19:01 Rimuru's army were under orders not to kill anyone who was uninvolved or weren't attacking them. That's why Ranga was "playing" with them. He got a little carried away, he overestimated his opponents' durability, and he actually thought the enemy was "playing" too. The only thing the left out from what was in the novel is that Ranga was throwing the people into a pile with his paws, he was using them as chew toys, and Grigori was a bit more beaten-up than they showed. It would have been funnier with all that. Oh well. A minor disappointment, because I had been looking forward to that scene. Ranga had been warned ahead of time not to go overboard or Rimuru would be angry.
20:25 Remember after that battle both Hinata and Rimuru are in a weakened state. Then the Seven Days show up on cue. Accidentally? I don't think so.
Also, so far, Rimuru has lost Belzebuth, one if his main assets in battle, and holy magic is not his forte. He just sacrificed the defense of Beelzebub because of a Holy attack. Now what can he do in the face of a future Holy attack? The spiritual particles in Holy magic are not magicules.

    • @MightyBeasts

(Spoiler free) Information about Diablos power vs Rimuru. Hope it helps!
In terms of strength, Rimuru has a sub skill called food chain that was part of Beelzabuth. Basically this skill makes it so that all his subordinates give a bit of strenght to Rimiru sl that he is always stronger than them. The skill also gives his subordinates some of his strength so it is a win win.
But what this means is that in terms of strength and access to skills Rimuru is always stronger than his subordinates such as Diablo. Because everytime they get stronger, it just makes him stronger too. 🤷‍♂️
Now, whilst it is the case that Rimuru has more skills and power than Diablo, but Diablo has wayyyyyy more experience and talent with his skills, magic and fighting in general.
All of this is to say that if Rimuru and Diablo fought right now, I would say Diablo would win if it wasnt for Raphael. However, Raphael makes up for Rimurus lack of talent and experience abd can use all of Rimurus skills for him. So my final verdict is that Rimuru would win, but only because of Raphael 😊
Now, as for Guy Crimson (aka Rouge). We have been told he is an awakened demon lord where as Diablo is not.
The whole Demon lord vs Daemon lord is confusing though so i understand the confusion (in japanese demon lord is Maou, where daemon lord uses demon still). Translating into english makes this confusing as hell as they both translate back into "demon".
To avoid this confusion the light novel translation uses different titles. I.e. Diablo is called a Demon Peer (not a daemon Lord).
In summary Diablo is at a level of evolution below Guy still, as Diablo has not awakened as a true demon lord like Guy has.
Hope this helps clear up some confusion about the names and power level in the anime 😊

Rimuru does fear at certain times that Diablo in particular might be or become stronger than him. I have a hypothesis that if someone were at the upper limits of Rimuru being able to name him, then afterwards the total number of magicules the named would have could potentially be greater than Rimuru's. Diablo has been known in the past and maybe still to have limited his own strength. Who knows what his strength really is? If Diablo were to use every means of powering up at his disposal, that might make him much stronger. Even if, as named by Rimuru, he donates some of his strength to Rimuru via Food Chain.
Also, Food Chain seems to me to be variable. His people are not always contributing the full amount of what they each could potentially donate. But sometimes, in some situations, Rimuru's people will push more magicules to him. I think Raphael is regulating some of this, and also I believe that most of the time Rimuru's people are inclined to think positively and cooperatively towards Rimuru, and are generously and freely acting as a community. But I have to think that most of the time Rimuru is not under duress and doesn't have the need for a surplus of magicules.

Yeah, Diablo is bloody hard to get a good read on his strength at any point of time. Although to be fair even Rimuru is hard to read as he tends to underestimate his own power at times. I typically trust Raphael the most when it comes to strength, probably followed by Milm. For all that Milim is... well Milim. She does have a good eye for things 😉
But yeah, the power of Diablo is just so hard to know. There is a reason I kept my answer to that of "my" opinion as opposed to fact. As I truly can't say for sure If Diablo could be stronger than Rimuru 🤷‍♂️
Minor spoilers maybe? Better be safe than sorry.
      Spoiler:
I like to thing of the magicule sharing portion of food chain as them all just sharing one massive pool of magicules that they can all draw from. With the amount that they can give and take from the shared pool being dependent on how close their bond with Rimuru is. (I.e. we have seen that Rimuru and Veldora seem to have no limit to the amount they can share between each other on m multiple occasions). This shared pool is also somewhat overseen by Raphael to limit who gets/gives how much at any point in time as well. Thoughts? 😊
      Edit:
Luckily I doubt we ever have to worry about Diablo betraying Rimuru. Pretty sure Diablo would legit erase himself from existence if Rimuru asked him too.... 🤣

Diablo has displayed time and again the ability to fight on equal footing with beings far superior to him in strength. His experience and expertise is highly exceptional, even among the ancient beings. So I think Diablo is stronger than Rimuru in combat prowess.

I agree, it is just that I disagree when Raphael gets involved.
Not super strong disagreement though as I honestly think that if anyone was able to outsmart Rapahel on Rimurus team it would have to be either Diablo or Veldora.
      Spoiler:
And Veldora only gets included as his ultimate is a direct counter to Raphael.
Obviously Raphael could also be beaten by other explore such as Michael etc as well.

      @@shaunmcdonough7844
      Spoiler:
I don't think of it as one big shared pool of magicules. Food Chain regarding magicules flows up but usually most people keep their own. I neglected to distinguish between give and lend in my previous answer. I tend to think most of it is lent.
For Skills, Raphael mediates the distribution of Skills. She (he, it?), using Ability Adjust, gives Skills to those who can use them, including Rimuru. For Rimuru, she packages them up efficiently into general categories and Subskills within Uriel using Unlimited Imprisonment as a structure, and the nature of Uriel is the support of and loyalty of his people. It also represents abundance and promises. I won't consider "later" here.
But disregarding Skills that Rimuru or Raphael feels are of no use to him, for example, Rimuru feels jealous of Souei's ability to use Replications. Rimuru has theoretical access to that Skill and yet he can't use it to its fullest extent. That's discounting any amount of practice either devoted to using it. Souei even got the Skill from Rimuru. But yet he can't control his Replications.
With Velzard, even after a certain event that enables him to analyze her Skills, he can't reproduce Parallel Existence (yes, it's Ultimate, I know).
Anyway I kind of went on a Skill tangent. Sorry.
As for Veldora, the maximum magicules enhancement is when Veldora is within Rimuru as a spiritual being. All the magicules usually assigned to his body are now combined with Rimuru's. When Rimuru made that Replication, how many magicules did he lose to do that? I tend to think that most of the magicules Veldora used to complete his reestablishment in the world came from the surroundings. But we know that even his spiritual form is loaded with magicules because Rimuru was using him as a reserve tank in his reckless naming sprees. Good thing Great Sage/Raphael was here to save him from himself. I thought that Veldora's stash was still Veldora's, and maybe that was true back then, and it changed later, or different situations call for different distributions. Or Fuse altered the rules. I never really know what Fuse is thinking. But what this comes to, is when Rimuru released Veldora in the cave, by what degree was Rimuru's power diminished? At least on a day-to-day basis.
