Wonderful information and agree trees are essential! There are a few innacuracies id like to share (when it comes to calling these all native to FL). Banana is not native to Florida (asia) nor is it a tree, crepe myrtle is also an asian tree (though the simpson stopper is similar and it IS native), none of those citrus trees are Natives (though they do grow well here), Loquat is native to China (introduced to FL in the 1900's),

6,9,10 are the only natives.the rest are Florida Friendly

Believe it or not but Mahogany is actually native to extreme south florida.
