My first Christmas! I was born October of 1955. Watching in December 2024. So that’s Betty the leggy pin up gal of WWII. Had seen her picture, but don’t remember actually seeing her dance and act. A very strange Christmas special no Christmas songs. The strong gal Joan is pretty hot! In the 60s Bob Hope was shilling for Chrysler instead of Chevy.
Too bad we don't have more like this fine gentleman. Some come close but I doubt any will do as much for our troops as old Bob did. Thanks for the vid.
I don't know where you got the idea he was making people believe that. I never heard such nonsense. He was a professional entertainer and that means he gets paid. And those shows are not cheap to do either. Kind of like the way everyone thought Jack Benny was a miser and tight wad when in reality he was an incredibly generous person and paid his staff extremely high wages. But he played it and went along with it because his real friends knew, and he was talented enough to make it funny. People are always wanting to drag people through the mud because they are jealous of their talent.
I love the old entertainers and the writers that helped make them so funny❤
Bob was a showbiz legend!
I turned 9 years old in 1955😊
LOVE THIS!!!!!

Bob was so rich he only carried new money, never been spent, never even folded.
Thry dure dont have shows on lije this anymore.
Bob always let people believe he entertained the troops for free. The truth is he demanded and got a fortune for it and refused to do it otherwise.

great talent that Bob Hope was, to so many people, for so many decades!
