I think Medvedev backhand position is not powerful and effective.. He should change his elbow like Djoko or fed... His backhand is like floating shot but not a rocket shot..
Zero spin on his backhand.. I like that he doesn’t care about all this nonsense. He is practical man, and doesn’t worry about what everybody else is saying. I love playing against people who add too much spin to the ball. They put so much effort and their balls are not that fast. Your spin only matters if you can add a lot of pace as well. This topspin bull is overrated. But Im glad very few people know this, so I can beat them. I do use a lot of spin on the forehand but pace is always my priority. My backhand is usually flat unless Im hitting down the line or very low balls.

the flat fkn forehand is the key to his success !
It looks like he covers the ball at the end of the move, so, is it really flat ?
What’s his forehand grip?
Semi western.

but he has consistency and deadly accuracy, and since theres not much spin its already quite fast
You don’t know what you’re talking about, please never comment again
One day after us open finals 2021. Djoko should rather copy his fore and backhand from med.
