Specifically though, where would that wind sound effect be coming from? Usually when a song has some weird sampled sound the band will just leave it out when playing it live. This is lip synced.

I first heard this song when Dream Academy were the musical guests on Saturday Night Live (and actually played it LIVE, not lip-synched like it is here on AB). I went out the next day and bought the (vinyl) record. I still have it in my collection and still play it to this day. Great record, great band!

I hate to be that guy and I don't mean for this to sound like I'm being a dick, but the correct term here would be planetary system. There's only one solar system, and it's the one we're in. It got its name from the sun's Greek name, Sol. Though I will admit that "solar system" rolls off the tongue a bit better. But with that out of the way, I 100% agree. Her beauty is otherworldly.

@@deejaquila6407 I mean sure lol, it is a great way to describe her stunning beauty after all.
I guess I just like to inform people of the correct terminology for certain things, in the hopes that someone can possibly learn something new and then go on to use the correct term/saying/grammar/etc. in the future rather than continuing to use the often-used wrong...whatever lol. It's not due to some feelings of superiority on my part or anything like that, I just genuinely want to spread knowledge where it appears that some may potentially be needed, perhaps out of some vain hope I have of making some sort of minuscule difference in shaping this world into an even smarter and overall better place.

I need to make myself clear here. I'm first and foremost a Zep fan. I love Pink Floyd too. I have my metal strain... Maiden....Megadeath..... Motorhead, etc. I also am into all kinds of jazz and Classical from Renaissance polyphony to Rachmaninoff. All that being said I adore this band in its entirety. Their sound their feel. All of it. And yes, Kate St. John is one of those Babes for the Ages.

Up until a few years ago, the only live performance of The Dream Academy that was known was their famous 1985 Saturday Night Live performance of Life in a Northern Town. They did go on a small tour "of the sheds" of UK in 1990-91 for their A Different Kind of Weather album but as far as I am aware no know audio or video exists of those shows. Then Nick and Kate without Gilbert played some gigs in Japan as The Dream Academy in 2017. Some of those performances have made their way onto UA-cam and are awesome and include Hampstead Girl, Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want, and LiaNT. They still saw amazing after all these years.
