I had worked in TCS as a mainframe developer and my hardworking colleges with 8 + years experience earned upto 8.5 lakh salary which was way less .The maximum increment you would earn will be only when you get promoted as IT analyst after 3.5 years based on your performance . But my project had the maximum onsite opportunity .just from my team of 8 members, almost 4 got an opportunity for onsite . But if you see the onsite package it only good if you are bachelor and share your expenditure with others .if with family ,it's not such a lucrative offer .
Than make investments in other things like market bitcoin every months 1k rupees u will make great profit invest in polkadot swipe and many more projects 😛 u will definately get huge profit but now market is recovering so u have to wait for another dump in market than make easy profit sir

i will share my horrible expi : i have given tcs nqt after preparing very hard for 1 month and finally i recieved shortlisting mail i was very happy then after interview i recieved offer letter i was soo happy and i told my family about it they were sooo happy then a horrible thing happebed i recive joining and i was in cbo (imagine you have applied for tech job they interviewed u on languagess they offer u engineers profile then suddenly u recive cbo stream ) no one was willing to talk to me i have tried every number they provided but every one told me to talk to that team and this team and i couldnt tell my family that i dont want to do this it support becoz they were soo happy my hair started to fall i couldnt sleep at night my situation was really bad i didnt had courage to tell my family that it is support job and i dont want to join tcs
Hey Abdul don't worry buddy in TCS CBO is divided in different unit. CBO1.0, CBO1.1, CBO1.2 so one unit is of only Engineers. That is CBO also require technical people like RPA Developer, .net developer to automate the manual use case. So just go and grab it. Later in case require you can easily change your unit.
I had been selected through tcs nqt and in joining letter i got CBS(ITIS) as stream, should i accept it bcz merely a support work and also bca/bsc recruit for this
The only option if you don't want to leave TCS as well as growth with salary hike is DCA exam where u can Promoted to system engineer with around 6.5 lpa in just 1 year

Nothing is so certain in TCS. I cleared both iPA and iRA with 80+ but still had to give PRA. Second, many of my friends didn't get the privilege to say no to a project.

@@naveenchebolu6757 As you have mentioned about IT stream you seems to be in ILP period right now with IT as training stream. At this moment it's quite difficult to predict whether it is good or bad until and unless you're tagged to a project/business unit. In near future you'll be trained in anyone stream of the stream(i.e. Java, Python and .NET) and after successfully completing the ILP period you'll be reporting to a RMG. Now RMG is the person who allocate you into the project. From that point of time we can say whether that project is good or bad. If you're very good in coding then you should appreciate and wish to go into a development projects. Development projects has a large amount of learning and exposure to new technologies. If you're not at all interested in coding then support/maintenance/testing any of them is best for you. Now it depends on your conversation with requestor and RMG by which you get right project as per your expectations.

Its never a big deal....for 1st year you may have to compromise about the location but later if you become adamant you would easily get transferred to another location

You haven't provided all accurate information and these basic things are there in almost every company. Nothing you mentioned is specific to TCS. Infact project changing is not as simple as you described. Also you did not mention whether you are telling about fresher joining TCS or experienced person joining TCS. Both have completely different scenario. Please make a video only when you can deliver it, else it creates false image for people who have no prior knowledge.

Let the clear you what are the changes done now: 1. IRA are not conducted now they are conducting OPA/IPA. The person who clears OPA/IPA with 80% above was offered 60k in 2020. now the joining bonus has been reduced to 40k. 2. We can't say no any project. If we do so then RMG will throw you anywhere as per his wish. As we are agreeing with TCS policies in service agreement this might lead to HR action as well. For more information you can check service agreement. In fact many of the people are getting premapped to the project before they join TCS. The reason behind this is many people are given their joining letters before their final semester exams and most of the associates are making accuses to appear the exams which affects their project based on the end date of final semester (which is taken by through a survey just before joining) and the project requirements. This is based on my experience in TCS. I am from the first batch which was onboarded in TCS after lockdown (June 2020)
Fact 4: Depends on rmg. Some RMG are not good 😐 they allocate you to the project which you can't chage or decline. They won't reply to your mails and msgs. Please don't join TCS join small scale company to boost your career it will help you to level up your skills. Initially don't go to brand value inner body is so different. If you are are good in Technology like AI,Ml,IOT,DS you won't get any work on that they will mentally harsh you to work on the project which they will provide you will forgot your skills by time .. Totally true..as a fresher you are not going to learn anything in tcs. They put you in support role and after a year you don't have any knowledge to switch to any other company.
Dear Anshika, I guess you missed one point the opportunity tcs provide. You can double your package by clearing Dca exam and making your profile to digital after that you will certainly get development moreover it will add a strong impact and adding to it tcs bears all your extra certification expense. So it provides n no of opportunity to the student and it's up to them how they utilize it.

This is so not true, mine was in BPS process & there was no joining bonus exam IRA. Also even after training period when the project got allotted it was not at all good... & When asked for a change they denied it. Also growth is not a point in tcs (especially not monetary)

You can double your package by clearing Dca exam and making your profile to digital after that you will certainly get development moreover it will add a strong impact and adding to it tcs bears all your extra certification expense. So it provides n no of opportunity to the student and it's up to them how they utilize it.

This is so not true, mine was in BPS process & there was no joining bonus exam IRA. Also even after training period when the project got allotted it was not at all good... & When asked for a change they denied it. Also growth is not a point in tcs (especially not monetary)
The Health Insurance Scheme of TCS is very good as compared to other private companies... Another point to consider!
At tcs employee pays close to 12000 rupees an year for 1.5 lakh rupees insurance cover. I don't know what makes you think its good.
