That's pretty much how sloths move in real life. They're pretty robotic. If anything, they move and do too much in the game. In real life they just hang in at one spot for days (in big, non-interactive exhibits), which is why, IMO, they're totally fine as exhibit animals (aside from the creativity side of things that you can do with habitats).
What you talking about? They hardly move a muscle in the game. Sloths don't stay in one spot for days, they sleep for at least 15 hours a day, and then they wake up to eat.
The biggest change I've made with stressed animals is going into the security items and putting the "shh!" signs everywhere. It's incredible how much that makes animals chill the heck out! I had a habitat of foxes that was mostly brick walls or single-sided glass, and they were almost all at 0%, and I added 2 shh signs and suddenly they were living the dream!
Amazing build! I love the slothes, I'm so happy they were added to the game! By the way I recently noticed that animals can enter walkthrough exhibits! I tried to build a tropical glasshouse for butterflies and lemurs and it worked just fine! I don't know if this is something everyone else knew and I just missed it, but I was so happy to see the lemurs roaming around in the butterflies exhibit XD I wonder what animal could go with the sloth... Maybe the capibara...?
this path is something u find in germany or maybe more of europe all around especialy on parking lots we call it Rasengiiter (lawn grid) or Rasengittersteine ( lawn grid stones) its a way of givin parking cars a solid foundation to stand on while also not sealing off the ground wich can hep to prevent flooding lol its such a comon thing for me
We need to tell Frontier to update the game to have the staff opening and close the doors to go through instead of going through them like ghosts, plus brachiation added to orangutans, and modified models for orangutans, timber wolves, lions, koalas, Bactrian camels, Malayan tapirs, koala bears, and saltwater crocodiles, plus platypuses, all birds, and all reptiles to lay eggs rather than giving birth, despite what Frontier already said to us.
I feel the sloth model very good. In my opinion the movements are natural, because sloths move veeeeery slow. Delady, you know if you can include a walkthrough exhibit into an habitat? It would be really cool if you can build an habitat for capuchin monkeys surrounding the sloth exhibit with the monkeys jumping over the sloths

I absolutely adore sloths. Going to a zoo this week to see one! I'd love it if the babies in game actually stayed close to their mum or siblings, instead of everyone just running away
i remember my Bongos where stress all because of the people being to loud so i had to put signs in to show the guests to be quiet 😅 and just like that the bongos weren't stressed anymore.
I think it would be cool to add the new Fossas as one of your final African animals. They wouldn't need a massive exhibit and they are so very cute. We have a Fossa named Kirindy at the zoo I volunteer at, and while he is old and grumpy, he's still one of my favorites.
You should do the Red River Hogs with an interspecies habitat! They have so many to go with, but putting them in some sort of muddy canal where there's an attached elevated land island for something else feels right. YAY! Platypus wins! This version works well for the insane amount of details we were forced to get with the sloth! Don't get me wrong, I love what the sloth has included in it, I just wish it was removable so we could do more with the creativity side of things instead of being forced to work with the "construction zone" effect of the climbing stuff.
Before i continuing why i click on this video, idea for sloth building, i feel you so much around 2 min when i first got that problem. outta nowhere they getting stressed and when i pick them up to put them in a place where there can't be any stress they start running to the stress again...same thoughts as you got. Just thought "Seid ihr total bescheuert" In my first zoo it'S getting normal with my varis to the point i just let it happen until they chill again.

As far as I am concerned, you pronounce liana the same in English (although I might be wrong, please, native speakers, correct me then). Calling them roots isn't technically wrong either! Lianas are just air roots of vines :D

If they made the sloth move in any other way then it does now, it wouldn’t be a sloth, that’s how they move. They move so slow microkingdoms can grow on their fur, and only come down trees to release their dumps, spend days on end stationary or sleeping, so even them moving as much as they do in this game is unrealistic. Frontier did a great job imo

hey there, I recently bought planet zoo and have decided to buy two dlcs. Which two would you recommend? I only have enough money for 2 old dlcs. Just so you know, I am more into decorating the enclosures instead of survival mode. So if there 5 two packs that come to mind that have lots of good scenery and building things, please let me know.
You did a wonderful job on the exhibit, as usual! I shared this on another video, but I'll post it again here: I agree with the sloth animation being too robotic. I think the spine is too rigid. The only animals for the bigger walkthrough exhibits are sloths, butterflies and bats. You will need the packs in order to be able to add the animals in the exhibits 😊

I think the space in between these two exhibits is a great place to add the reptile exhibits that are still stood on their own lol

It’s a shame they didn’t have baby sloth cling to the moms while gestating.
You can actually give baby animals contraceptives by just going to the big list of animals and contracepting them there.

Het is een walkthrough exhibit 😊 je kan luiaards niet in een gewoon verblijf zetten, maar alleen in de grote exhibits 😅
