You make an excellent point about the seasonal contrast of their music. Dark Blood had a dark, wintry vibe but was released in the summer and Orange Blood has a summer, warm feel that is being released now in the autumn/winter. There was a Reddit thread that talked about this. Great observation! ENHYPEN delivers!

There is a letter in the last part written in German and it says: Dear Sunghoon, “I hope you can forgive me for not having any memories of our time together. But please don’t doubt me. That would make me very sad...You must help me bring all our comrades at the Black Sea back to life at the next full moon. Only then can we be forever happy. Sunghoon...I hope you can trust me. Your Sooha.”
Yes this is connected to the last trailer, webtoon and is heavy lore. The letter on the table at the end is also very important. I read a translation online and it says it’s from Sooha asking him to bring the members to the black sea to free them. While it is signed Sooha, the main theory is that it is not from her but from Seleen the one who made them vampire lords in the first place. Sooha is her reincarnation. All the things that happen during the part that is bright and summer-like are to show that they have become mortal so they can walk freely in the sun, get hurt, bleed and even eat. When the boys jump into the water they have to talk out loud because they have lost their power to communicate telepathically, Jake's character has lost the power to control fire so jumping into the water longer will affect him. When things turn dark we see how fleeting love and good times can be.
The real Sooha is trapped in the house and tries to warn Sunoo but he is caught and trapped by Seleen who bites him. (This may turn him back into a vampire). At the end there are only 6 members watching the fire so Sunoo is missing. They are in despair because having lost their powers they cannot rescue him. Jay tried to run into the burning house but they had to hold him back.

As for storyline, in the Dark Blood concept trailer they talked about how this girl "Sooha" was not strong enough and they needed to return all her rightful power back to her. They are vampires because she gave them their powers so by her biting them, it's her taking that power back which is what we saw in the Dark Blood concept trailer, in this one after the sacrifice and everything they're human again, can be in the sun without any trouble, can get injured and Jake can go in water (he couldn't before because his power was fire and by being under water too long he could die), finally being able to eat actual food instead of animal blood and they can experience being human again after thousands of years of being vampires. "This is a very relaxing video" the way I LAUGHED lmaoooo. So Trapped Sooha is the same one from the Dark Blood Concept trailer while the one they've spent time with this entire one is a different one, from the first scene where she's in the water up until the creepy reveal. We don't know if it's two Soohas (Doppelgänger style) or if it's current reincarnation of Sooha with a previous one or if it's Sooha and Selen (princess of the Ancient Kingdom in which the Enhypen member were her knights thousands of years ago and from which they got their power from). Some theories believe that this "Dark Sooha" tricked Sunghoon (the letter in German at the end) into coming to this place and take Sunoo with her. Funny enough.... Sunoo was sacrificed on their last MV (Sacrifice Eat Me Up) and they were battling between Heaven and Hell. We do know that the story is not over and that they'll be releasing three more webtoons in regards of Enhypen's story so it's far from being over. We also know that Dark Blood and Orange Blood are all part of the same Universe/timeline and which these will be the "Blood Series" we presume it's a trilogy but we're not 100% sure.
They are really great actors and I hope that one day we can get either a movie or a series about their whole storyline as it would be so epic. They filmed this in Jeju Island btw. They actually built and burned the house like really did it.
The song in the Orange Blood concept trailer is Orange Flower which is actually written by the same person who did Bills huhu. The choreography was something they learned on the spot just for the filming so it's not actually the choreography as far as we know.
And yes... Enhypen have always done comebacks with opposite seasons lol. From Tamed-Dashed in the Fall (that was not their fault as they 6/7 got sick and it got delayed, originally it was meant to be released at the end of summer), to Dark Blood in Summer, to Drunk-Dazed a very Halloweeny concept in the middle of April and well yeah lolololol I honestly love it so much, it sets them apart from the whole lot of Winter concepts going on right now
Enhypen is one of the only male kpop groups I like, because of their rnb vibes., you were just talking about it and it started playing the sweet venom bass guitar, the song in the trailer concept is orange blood is rnb vibes like bills

Selen is the princess who sooha is a recarnation of. And selen gave them their powers. So i think its Dardan pretending to be Sooha to get to the members

I saw some people posted and also questioning that why this summer vibes of orange blood release in a time of winter now bcs true that November is definitely somewhat start of the winter season but one thing i’d agree with is that, just probably, they (Enhypen) wanted us to feel warm during this winter by listening to Orange Blood! 🧡

I was thinking about this for a while now. But in the Fever mv maybe we got it wrong about Ni-ki. What if he new something was wrong before the fever fully took him over (which was spread by Sunoo because of Seleen). And Ni-ki was trying to hold the fever/ spell back with his power (darkness). I think Ni-ki was trying to tell Sunghoon & hypnotized him. So when Heeseung went to Sunghoon to give him the fever (👀 Sunoo watching). It did not fully work (the necklace around Sunghoon's heart). I think that is why Sunghoon was the only one who protected Sooha from his brothers (which bring you to concept trailer one). I don't know..what do you guys think?
