My guess is either Grodd is controlling her in the vision, Circe might not be giving the full picture, or Waller might accidentally cause the apocalypse while trying to prevent it. Whatever gave her those scars certainly played a role in it.
I think so too, her just automatically sending the creature commandos to kill her will probably trigger a war between America and their country, leading to all that
What I hate most about this is how this is avoidable. But Waller is so simple minded. Flag is right, the sweet princess we saw that spoke so highly of America wouldn’t do this. We see the scars on her face in the visions. Most likely is Waller sends in the team that the princess considers friends to kill her and they FAIL! The princess drifts into darkness seeing the outside world as the enemy and proceeds to become the monster everyone thinks she’ll be.
@yesikanarvaez5027 I see where ur coming from but no, because Circe has no affiliation with any of Pikolostan's allies, and The Creature Commandos were sent by The US Government, so if they tried to kill her, it would be seen as a declaration of war, as opposed to Circe killing her not being seen as that cuz she's not affiliated with any of Pikolostan's allies
The Princess that powerful?! Holy shit, that's scary! So many heroes cameos and of course Creature Commandos are still the favourite here under Badass Rick Flag Sr. !! Love this show!
While many people believe it's Grodd controlling the princess, i believe it's the princess doing all of this on her own. After everything she went through and witnessed over the last few days, i think something snapped and made her crazy.
My guess is whatever gave her those scars will tie into her becoming so evil. Perhaps Waller sending the CC to kill her is what caused this, and it might be up to Rick Sr to prevent this?

It can take place in a certain timeframe within the universe (either the past or the future), while next year's Superman could take place some time before or after the Creature Commandos. It's a really wonderful thing
Kinda hard to believe that could happen. Especially since the soldiers were struggling with basic fuses with regular bullets and guns and were getting slaughtered
Clever girl, Circe overwhelmed Waller visions of so much death that she forgot one key detail. Circe is not dead in this future. In fact, she benefits greatly from Wonder Woman and the Justice League being killed.
Assume a self fullfilling prophecy she'll make a deal with Grodd after the US tries to assasinate her, she doesn't have the scars yet but somehow they'll stop the full vision from coming to be.
I believe the vision is real but also one of many threads. Waller didn’t go against her instincts and decided to send the princess her “protectors” to betray and most likely fail to kill her. She then drift to become this monster that the vision proceeded. Think about how your future would be different if you turned left instead of right down a forked road. If Waller decided to have kin ship with the princess instead of always trying to kill people then it’ll lead to a different future
I love that James Gunn kept Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, she's great in the role - the best being CCH Pounder, who could still play the role in liveaction IMO.
I won't be at surprised if they go for some kind of expectation subversion in this series but Circe's most infamous act in both mythology & comic book canon was tricking a bunch of humans so she's sus in almost every incarnation of her canon. There’s absolutely no way an army of mecha suits and A princess plus gorilla Grodd is beating half the hero’s on those poles. Green lantern core aside there’s so much more that could be mobilised against that army. Villains would probably team up to stomp her down too.
