If you have dry or mature skin, especially with fine lines and wrinkles, skip the powder and setting spray part. Add those two at the end. For dry skin with lots of wrinkles, avoid powder altogether.

Yes! And it is the healthy thing to do for your skin it creates a barrier for your skin from the makeup products ive done this for years but always make sure you clean it all off at end of day
As I age, my skin has gone from combination/oily to normal to dry in parts and normal in others. I can't use powder anything as it just makes my skin look patchy and dry as the sahara! 😭😭😭 No foundation powder, no powder eye shadow or powder blush or translucent powder etc 😭😭😭..... Setting spray after doesn't help. It just sets it in place in patchy, flaky, textured appearance. 😂😂😂 fml! I appreciate what you do. ❤❤❤ It's very helpful! 🎉 But for people like me, I wish makeup videos for dry af or dry/normal ageing skin were made more mainstream. I find lots of vids for normal or oily skin by super young, pretty youtube influencers. Again, I appreciate all you do. But I can't use most of your makeup hacks as I can't use drying products like powder anything. 😢 ..... Also, my makeup routine is quite simple with fewer steps as I don't have much time every morning before work etc. For example, for eyes, I use just corrector + concealer + mascara (sometimes eyeliner if I have time). All after skincare, of course. 😅 If anyone has tips or hacks or product advice, please comment. 👇 Help out your ageing lady here. 😘❤🎉
I used to do this for stage performances. Though I would also add highlight and cream blush before primer and base and the rest of the makeup for that flushed skin lit from within look onstage.
I did before seeing this video during my summer trip in Japan and I swear, even with a face mask while running around Disney, my makeup didn't budge! It's nice that I was doing something correct 😂😂
Depends on you skin type. Dehydration can be an issue for all skin types, whether it's dry, oily, combined. If your type of skin is dry or very dry, this might not be the best for you. If you have oily or combined skin and you struggle with dehydration, use a moisturizer that's suited for your skin type and hydrates the skin and then try this method of makeup application.

1. Moisturize
2. Translucent powder (lightly dab)
3. Setting Spray (wait for it to dry)
4. Primer
5. Foundation
