Haha! No way. I did this road the day after this (28th). The power line was still down on Undullah Rd. Nearly necked us; we were going the other way (went down to Rocky River/Tenterfield etc). When you were looking at that peak on the horizon I was yelling out “Flinders bro” as if you could hear me 😂 another good vid mate!
Wow we would have probably passed each other a day earlier, that powerline came out of nowhere as well super sketchy. Hahaha I can imagine you yelling at the screen😂so good, thanks for watching brother appreciate it👍
Good effort guys, must have been exhausting in that heat. Some of those tracks looked pretty washed out and hard work. Undulla Rd looked unrecognisable after the storm, blimey. Good stuff.mate and HNY to ya 💪👍
I live close to there and been riding out there quite a few times. Never made it all the way through on Rice road. The gates put me off. Some good riding around Undullah trails though. Most guys trailer their bike to the area near the rail bridge. We've had fires go through there a few months ago burning trees, making a mess of the trail, now the storms are doing the same. You get few 4x4 through there too. Bloody hot day for a ride. I think it got to 38 that day.
Yeah mate we were unsure if it was possible to get right through, so I thought if I could do a video showing other people it could be helpful. Storm sure did make a mess of it, if it was 38 degrees that day I felt every single one of them😂thanks for watching mate👍
Hey Curtis, Jake owes you a beer everytime you head out together for the rest of his life…no water & no snacks riding enduro trails in 33 + degrees young fella?!?! Next time you’re up that way check out Mt Elliot Rd & Wild Pig Creek Rd. Both dead ends but fun roads & nice view at the top of Mt Elliot. Geoff 👍🏻
Good stuff mate, I started watching and thought I'll take my 1200 scrambler through there one day, then you got to the rough stuff. Yeah nah thanks. Great vid, jez ya mate might owe you a few frothies
Yeah mate I thought the same and we did come across a couple of private property signs, it is however a gazetted road so I’m not sure who exactly is putting up these signs🤷♂️
Happy New Year bud. Thats some serious carnage from the Tornado that went thru up there man, far out. Hope you weren’t impacted too much yourself bud. The CB build continues for me but I’ll likely pickup a DRZ soonish.
Same to you Greg. Yeah mate there was a lot of damage hey, fortunately we only went without power for a few days and only had a small amount of damage compared to others. Yep do it man couple of little mods and you’ll love the drz👌
Always look forward to your vids dude. Cold winter days in Canada; fun to watch you guys goofing on your DRZs on the other side of the planet. I noticed in the vid - you don’t rock motorcycle boots on rides like this?? It probably saved your buds ankle on that first wipe out. Worth the investment! Keep up the vids and stay safe!
Hey Luke I do generally wear my motocross boots when I know we’re doing more enduro style stuff I thought it was going to be more of a fire trail(what a rookie😅) but I 100% agree with you man and ill be throwing them on from now on. Glad your enjoying the vids mate appreciate the support👍
Yeah it’s a bloody good ride hey. Iv ridden down wild pig creek road a bit but I thought it and mt Elliott rd both went onto private property so I haven’t really explored much further maybe I should have a better look. Thanks for watching mate👍
99.9 % of private property gates have signs. With none on that gate off the main road I’m surprised, maybe it hasn’t been a issue before. Most would sign post it anyway. But what a struggle, you’ve had some bad weather up that way, hope alls well.
The track we doubled back to took us back around the other side of the gate where we found the trail again so tbh going through would be a shorter route however it definitely does look sketchy😅
Sorry I mean the rice road entrance. I normally go the other route you backed onto. But it's the rice road one I'm alittle sketched on. Normally wait till it's clear and I'll go through. Should tee up a ride
@@jackcs6102 ahhh gotcha yeah it doesn’t say it’s private and is a gazetted road on maps but yeah looks like it could be someone’s property hey. Yeah mate sounds good👌
Never heard it being a issue and it's been unlocked for ages so I'm sure it's fine but dont want to be a pest haha. There's kms of great tracks that I have been mapping on Gaia
Hey dude another awesome video channel is brilliant cheers for sharing 👍👌
Thanks Nathan glad you enjoyed it mate👍
nice video mate and some good bush bashing to boot 😁👌
Thanks Jeff was bloody good fun👌

Did Undullah Rd after watching your video…awesome track. Have you ever done Wild Pig Ck Rd or Mt Elliott Rd?

Yeah mate I agree this was a gazetted road with no signage at the beginning so bit confusing. Yeah nice to have power back haha, thanks mate👍
Hey mate nice vid I’m in that area, do you know if anything has changed since filming this?
@@scottdaniells8524 Hey Scott not to my knowledge mate I know guys that head out there quite frequently still👍

Yeah we’ll have to gee up a ride one day👌
I was looking at the google earth images of rice road, there's nothing out there. I doubt any of it is private property.
Yeah mate we actually couldn’t see any houses on maps either so I’m not sure who put the signs up.
i once did undullah road from ipswich on an mt09 , i must insane haha
😅

@@2502stokebloke haha yeah I imagine it wouldn’t be.
You definately need MX boots, too easy to brake an ankle or snap your lower leg...
Yeah mate I agree. This was only supposed to be a cruisy ride so I didn’t wear them, I wear pretty much every ride now.
