In the second group, it was a coalition : all of them was racind a day for Pdm !! For me, this year, Lemond paid Delgado and Rooks to help him in mountain !! it's flagrant in this stage. Without them, he had lost around fourty or fifty seconds and never won the yellow jersey.

This was Fignon's Maginot line stage, little did he know that in 2 days, Lemond's Blitzkrieg of the aerobar did him in.
It was so sad for Lauren fignon not to win at the end of it all. But at the time i didn't want Greg to lose either.

Rooks doing that strong turn in the last kilometer and Fignon fading there probably saved the Tour for Lemond.
