I actually was pleasantly surprised to watch MRH live performances again after a while and found out this line up, I really like how they sound, definitely the best sound since 2014. Also might be because I love Ventana and Scott's vocals, but anyway haha
I really am digging the Ventanna lead singer in the lineup (I think thats him, sounds like him) he vibes better with Jason Popson makes em sound super fucking heavy too! Digging the new sound!
I think the issue with that is is that they're trying to sound like the original singers and it doesn't work that way you need to just have a new voice and sound like your own instead of sounding like somebody else otherwise it just never works
Well, thanks again :) I really felt like the audio was great. Not cam wise, but in my ears. I REALLY like this band. The horned guitarist on the right was standing infront of my locker, taking pictures with fans. Long row.... didn't go. Will do for sure in Essen.
Why this band ever took off is that they're trying to sound like the original singers and you can't it never works just have your own voice have come up fresh new music and maybe you can have a stronger fan following instead of playing in these local bars
MRH died when Jeff left dude. If I’d heard this band first, I could vibe with it, but the magic is gone at this point. Here’s hoping they get the OGs together again for a tour or something one day.
Only the drummer. The original bass player left in late 1995 and his brother replaced him until early 2012 when he retired, the bassist you see in the video is the current bassist since 2012.
@@GoldsteinChannel he may be, I’m not sure. Haven’t watched the whole show. I do know that last time I seen them skinny and lil Dan (I think that’s what they called him) switched out behind the kit halfway through the set.
Not anything close to the original lineup but these guys actually sound ok
Well no shit. Half the original line up have separated over the various years. Have you been under a rock?
@@mandoky1647 They know, they're just saying it's different dipshit

@@mandoky1647 not at all. Just fell outta love with them after Savior Sorrow, but still bought Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children.
This band never had an original line up, members coming and going all the time.
it's basically a cover band at this point BUT these guys are actually great singers
Mate you could get away with so much more as a Mushroomhead cover band
I like Scott and I like Steve but this was the weirdest thing I have ever seen.

Notice how the only remain OG member is Skinny? He’s the problem.
Get him out and Mushroomhead is back.
Man are there any original members left in this group I think it's just the bass player and maybe the drummer everyone else has been replaced

Ugh . Just end it
Im hoping Jmann returns. If not. I don't know how they'll sound. I'm worried to be honest.

Skinny
@@GoldsteinChannel he’s not the one drumming in this video. He must just be manager status.

@@mitchellcambron2440 thats right, skinny can't do whole sets anymore so he switches out
Unpopular opinion but this new scream vocalist sounds way better live than jmann
