Glad to see Woody again and to see he has settled in! He is easy to watch....and he is not a klutz! He watches his feet over poles, and I like his head set! His owner has an all-around horse in the making! They are hard to find!! Would love to see him come back to you for fine tuning for the working cow horse show arena...I believe he is worth the time!
Woody, a very nice horse!
Woody is very nice!! You've done a great job with him!
Good morning all Good job Tim .Thank you for video Tim & Melinda.😃😇
❤❤❤
Well done there Tim with Woody and his training. Why do horses Colic?
Answering for Tim….I know, a buttinsky. Horses can’t vomit and have food impactions for various reasons or twisted bowel.
This one was a gas colic. Never really knew what causes gas colic but it can be weather, stress, or change in diet. The morning he coliced we had bad weather and I rode him in my covered arena during it. That is most likely the cause.
When towards the end of the video you said you were going to ask for an extended (I think) trot and then back to a regular trot. What signals did you use? Sorry, I’m a wanna be horseman, so I miss seeing that sort of thing on my own. Hopefully you know what I mean. Thanks for the very educational video lessons.
Hats off to you for doing such a good job with him. Woody will be missed after he goes back home. I wish the owner would send a short video showing him working.
If a horse colics once are they more prone to colic in the future?
A great Question, Julie 🙂 👌
