First time watching your videos! I’ve been trying to learn how to accurately draft a pattern for myself, and this really helps! I like that it’s straight to the point and easy to understand. I was shocked to see that you were making both the front and the back in the same go, which really opened my eyes on how to go about pattern-making. Thank you for the video!🙌🏽✨

This is great! Basically you only need two measurements, the bust circumference and the Center Back Neck to Waist. I will try this with my dress form. Thank you very much for this tutorial!

Hi. The video is so informative for a beginner like me who wants to learn fundamentals of pattern drafting for the basic female bodice block. I wanted to know which among dimensions should I consider:
at 5:36 mins,1.2 cm (highlighted in red marker) or
at 5:41 mins 1.4 cm (highlighted in white marker)

I find it really hard to pattern draft, I have already done my bodice, skirt and pants/trousers but I just would love to memorize the steps and do it without referring to a book, but I find it hard because I don't know the reason for most of these steps. Thanks for the video

    • @savi_illustrate
