Hello ! Yes how and where do I build and get the skills ? I mines well learn something seems as though my kids wont be going to school and I need to make money somehow . Are these jobs flexible in like hours?
@@michelleflores8072 Yeah thats one of the great things about freelancing - you can do it on your own time. I'd start with this video as for some of the basics: ua-cam.com/video/heGUDlWMNgQ/v-deo.html
Any thoughts on how to further break into the following niches and lock in more gigs? - Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu/Judo/Wrestling - Real Estate - Cannabis/CBD - Firearms/Survival/Prepper content I'm getting projects on those topics but would like to spike my project schedule and line up more gigs. On another note; how about hooking up your loyal subscriber with a video recommendation? Feel free to give me a shout to link up and connect so you can know a thing or two about me before shooting the video Appreciate ya either way :)
Can I be a content writer and still be successful? Asking because I'm leaning more towards that as I'm more content than copy...I have a website and I'm writing articles to add to it... your thoughts please
Dude! I'm so grateful I found your channel. The example video pitch you made is pure gold. I've been sending video pitches to prospects via instagram dms, and your example pitch is helping me refine the way I deliver my pitch. I love how you say "I'm excited because I have a few different ideas for [you]" after setting up your common interests and achievements, because it creates an open loop that makes the person on the other end want to know what those ideas are. Excited to keep watching your content and learn more from you.
Hello, I'm looking to get started as a freelance writer/proofreader. I know it's important to have a portfolio, even about random things if you plan generalize, but I do have a question. What is a portfolio piece supposed to look like? A word document with just the words? I know its my first ones, but I don't want it to look like a 6th graders essay piece but I'm not sure what to really go for.
Your Video approach is way to friendly @Location Rebel. In order to land a job and sell your self, you have take on another Selling Persona. Be like a Doctor in a abstract sense! A Doctor would never say in a friendly way, that the operation you as patient need, is not that important and could wait. But anyways, its a very good idea, shows confidences and some references. (excuse me for the bad english, i am german)
I would also be interested in this answer I'd think that finding groups relating to our preferred niches would be the answer but I'm just another rube commenter here ;)
Hellooo, I'm 16 years and I am about to drop out the college to become a full-time freelance copywriter I willing to invest all my time do you think that it is the best decision
I would suggest building your copywriting business as a part-time thing until you are making more than enough for food/housing/etc. consistently every month. Especially with how uncertain times are right now. If you are already making what you need to live (and thrive--not penny-scraping) then I say go for it. Or try to take a leave of absence for a period of time and come back to it later. Ultimately do what's best for you :)
What questions do you have about landing copywriting jobs? Ask away!

The video pitch idea reminded me of Barney Stinson's video resume in How I Met Your Mother lol. Awesome!
You are the best! ✌
Love your style! Thanks for the tips

Thanks for adding chapters!
BTW, you’re really good with video also!
Thanks again for excellent stuff Sean!
1:10 - man - who filmed that? Wow. He should get more screen time.
The quality of the tips and the videos camera, awesome men
Great video! Can you recommend Facebook groups (or LinkedIn groups) that would be good to join for writers - you alluded to that in the video. Thanks!

Your opinion about writing assistants?
Value packed video. Thanks for the great effort. I'm loving the channel.
Took some to-do notes while watching this one
Keep up the excellent momentum, brotha!
Great Video as always, quick question:
Can you share the links to those "Facebook groups about copywriting" that you mentioned?

No, that's the worst decision ever. You should at least wait until you're 18.
