We appreciate you stopping by and watching, and especially for the comment. It does us so much good for UA-cam, but also it makes our day!

Proud to live in Alabama! Wife and I went last year and only had an hour to spare so we definitely want to go back when we have more time!! Great video!

I can see being proud to live there. I met with a good friend who is happy to be back to living there. The people are so friendly, the drivers are courteous and the nature is second to none. We are so grateful your fellow residents took the time and made the effort to raise the money to provide such a fantastic monument for all of us to enjoy. A lot of local pride in their Heroes! Thanks for watching and especially for commenting! Great to have you here!

If it was the USS Wisconsin I'd probably spend a week on it! Yeah I'm from Wisconsin!

Well, I would be there with you! I have a good amount of family up that way on my dad's side. I think if you get better food than the military would serve and nobody shooting back at you it would be so much fun. It was our first time on a battleship and it was so cool. I really appreciate you watching and especially for the comment! Have a Merry Christmas!

I enjoyed your video but Battleship Cruise Lines is not economically viable. My eight months aboard USS Tripoli/LPH-10 made me happy that I was a Marine and not a sailor. High spots, closed in spaces, I was both acrophobic and claustrophobic!
In 1965 my father drove past the SS Alabama while on I-10 and he promised that we'd tour BB-60 someday. I finally fulfilled that promise in May 2021. I see that you have at least one more video--there's a lot to see and do in Battleship Memorial Park.

Yeah, the cost of the rounds would make a ticket ridiculously expensive. I have heard the same about the ships from my good friend who was a Marine in the early 90s. He has told me a lot about the aircraft carriers he moved around on. I also think it is great that you made your dad's promise come true. I know my dad said he always wanted to travel like we are doing when he was younger, but life got in the way and he passed right when we were planning to hit the road. I feel like I am doing this a little bit for him as well as for me. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your comment, and we are grateful that you stopped in to watch the video!

Yeah you are right, I am so used to dealing with the small arms. I would assume by your comment, you have served, and we thank you so much if that is true. Thanks for watching, and especially commenting! We are going to be putting out the sister video next week where we go aboard the U.S.S. Drum (Much smaller)!
