  • The Apo Six tells the story of Ifeayin Ozor a young trader at Apo Market Abuja who hung out with 4 of his friends (all traders in the same market) Along with his new found love Augustina Arebu who had come all the way from Abuja to visit him on the 7th of June 2005. A night of part and clubbing soon turned into a night that would last forever in the memories of anyone who remembers the story that shook an entire Nation in 2005.

I was very young then in primary school when it happened leaving in Appo village with my family.
    Appo 6
Was a nightmare to everyone leaving in Apor back then .
    It was a tragedy.
But on that faithful day when the Igbo boys couldn't take it anymore.
They started a protest that lade to a very serious riot .
I was in school that very morning with my younger brother., my mum already left to the market no one was at home.
When the riot started they came to my school with dangerous weapons . No way to ran home.
    The teachers ran
Students scattered " I thought me and my younger brother won't make it alive,
We ran from Appo to DOSAY.
Appo 6 story was a pathetic one.
I can never forget in a hurry.

If Nigeria is an organised country, the case can be revisited. I like your courage to narrate this story even the man is still alive. There are been many sad stories emanating from police cruelty in the past and present in Nigeria. For me, I prefer to meet armed robbers to meet these kind of police officers. Nigerian police is a legally established killer squads in Nigeria. God save us.

The entire court case proceedings was compromised and corrupted from the beginning, think about it, this man got his job back, was paid in full and was promoted to a higher rank and nobody at that check point faced justice and the court could not conduct a thorough investigation to determine who actually pulled the trigger or who gave the order, it shows that theirs a higher authority at work from the beginning of the case.
They hath to stretch it for 12yrs to frustrate the families of the victims because they don't want to come to the right verdict of the case but they'll never escape justice from God when the time comes. This is so heartbreaking 💔

What a heart wrenching story😢😢😢😢! The heart of man is desperately wicked.. and you’re right, once a person’s mind is set to do evil, no amount of talking or reasoning would work.
In such a scenario, stop responding to the persistent offender, get up, alert the manager or a higher authority present, get your things and quietly leave the place… this is one way to de-escalate any issue that can get out of hand…
