Elsa rankings are always interesting cause people seem to have so many different opinions on the voices, you never know what your gonna get. Didn't expect to see Idina last, but I see why some people don't like her in Frozen. The Tamil and Telugu version has grown on me since I made my ranking, glad to see them so high !
Also glad to see Swedish, Danish, Italian and Arabic so high

Finally someone who agrees with me about Idina! Everyone is hating on the versions of older singers because "that's not Elsa" but Idina is literally the same 😭. Idina just isn't Elsa for me
Idina got better in the sequel, in my opinion, but she still has that "Broadway" voice which is so well-trained, but sounds like other Broadway voices (in terms of the vocal tone mostly). I disagree with Sia's placement, but once again, it's a matter of taste & perception, she's a great actress for sure. What I like in Nikolett is the grace & nobleness she's brought without making Elsa posh or snobby. Taryn would definitely improve the quality of her singing if she forewent that bumpy / unstable vibrato. I had the same impression with Matsu Takako in 2013 when people were crazy about her, but she's grown on me. Seems like everyone agrees that Ana was better in the first film, but I sincerely still love her in the sequel, there's just something very real & endearing in her rendition. I'm over the moon to see Sophy this high, she's the most underrated voice from the sequel, in my opinion! Charlotte, indeed, sounds like Anais, but maybe slightly more nostalgic / melancholic (or pure, as you said) at times, which suits the sequel more. Jelena took the gold at last, so happy for her! ☺️
I can’t understand how oversensitive people can still be with Frozen & their versions, I don't think you've said anything wrong in particular. Quite the opposite, all comments have been written respectfully and you managed to say something nice (or at least neutral) about each voice.

Taryn sang with a more neutral vibrato in Frozen Olaf Adventure, but there’s not much of a difference. I think the big problem is that she tries her best to sound like Idina and ends up creating limits for her singing
Wow, the truth is, it is a Ranking that is undoubtedly very different from others xD. The truth is there is not much to say, except that although I disagree with many things, I think your top 20 is quite exotic but great. I say this because there are many voices in your top 20 that I would definitely put them in the last positions, but that is already my opinion. I'm really glad you put Jelena in first place 😍, she's definitely in my top 10, and thanks for the #34 spot anyway 😊. Nice edition ✨
I WAS REALLY REALLY SURPRISED WHEN YOU PUT MIKHA IN 8TH PLACE OMG !!!... as an Indonesian, i found the lyrics kinda make her messy and "unstable" (RIP Indonesian lyrics for Frozen 2) but i agree with the fact that mikha really improved A LOT in Frozen 2..thanks for your kind comment about mikha, i really really didnt expect her to be above Maria Lucia :O

@@charguigou I think Indonesian dubbed version more deserve the 8th place if only it was in Cinema dubbing version and the voice track released as "Original Motion Picture Sountrack" with flawless singing & audio mixing just like the other version wkwkwk. It's nice to see your ranking in the raining, first, I really didn't expect Mikha to get a place in the top 10, never thought, even if she was in the same place as in your previous ranking I still feel happy because someone likes her and appreciate her performance, if the lyrics could be flow better, she would be better, thanks for the comments and the place! It is not surprising to see Sia, Nikolett is low, because I have seen your clear points in the previous ranking so I am sure they will not be too high in this ranking xd Don't want to show disagreement, because this ranking is your view, not the public. Annika, let me down with her performance. I couldn't agree more with Jelena, she sounds perfect to Elsa. For those dislikes, I still don't understand why there are so many who still can't tolerate the opinion of every individual, they have the opinion and have the right to it, as long as it is objective, wise, they must not overprotective with their native version and maybe their favorite version as well. I'm surprised to see Taryn that high and I'm even more surprised to see Sunidhi at 28 place.😲😲 I have some disagreements like for German, Dutch, Japanese, Polish and Northern Sami I would have placed them in my top 10. But I understand everybody has different choices and opinions. But overall nice ranking🥰😍💗💖. Just looking forward for a Malay version

Great video! I feel like this is an unpopular opinion but Northern Sami was actually my favorite Elsa in Frozen 2. Danish was my favorite in Frozen 1 but it got pushed to number 2 in Frozen 2. French is my number 2 in Frozen 1 but now number 3 in Frozen 2. I should really make a ranking for Frozen 2. I've already made a video for Frozen 1.

Thank you for 19th place; Hye-na is really gold for me. And still a great quality of video, and great ranking. So surprise to see Idina Menzel is last, but not surprise she is in bottom, because I know she is one of your least favorite English voices. She is one of my least favorite English voices too; I've never notice some languages ranked higher than I thought (like Bulgarian, Croatian, Estonian, Finnish, Hindi, Indonesian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Slovene, Tamil and Telugu;), and I'm really surprise you're not a fan of Greek and Russian versions. Especially Greek, it's so funny that Sía's high note is one of your favorite versions but her Elsa is one of your least favorite versions. And some languages ranked lower than I thought; (like Castilian Spanish, Catalan, Czech, Danish, Hungarian, Japanese, Latin Spanish, Portuguese, Romanian, Northern Sámi, Swedish and Turkish), and Arabic, Dutch, Flemish and German versions improved in your ranking. And it's so sad that Cantonese, French, Mandarin (Taiwan) and Vietnamese singers changed; Their original voices were amazing, but changed voices are great too. And also so sad there's no Malay dub; Marsha was amazing in Frozen I. I miss her Elsa so much. And about number one; I've never notice Serbian version will be your favorite version, but I totally agree. Jelena is still one of my favorites too. Especially I really love her high notes. She is so amazing, I'm so happy to see her number one finally.

Oh God, never in a million years would I have expected the Serbian voice to be number 1, it's a language that's rarely at the top of rankings. But I can't say Jelena doesn't deserve the top spot, she's brilliant. Thanks for the 17th spot, I think my country made a great dub of the movie, and Nataša is awesome. I did not expect English to be at the bottom, I'm not a big Idina fan either but wow, that was a twist. Tamil and Telugu were also pretty surprising considering they're kind of newcomers to this dubbing world. Great ranking!

What an interesting ranking! I definitely agree with most of your comments - not necessarily the placements - and I like how you didn't beat around the bush to write them lol. My biggest disagreement would have to be Idina, I'm not a fan of hers, but it would never even cross my mind to place her last 😂 Your top 10 is amazing! Most of my favorites, such as Ramya, Sophy, Charlotte, Quynh and Jelena, are all in it 💕 And of course, a beautiful choice for number 1, she really outdid herself this time around :)
It's so fast, I still remember the days that I and you tried to keep calm when we'd just heard the news of replacement (May 2019? Haha). Well, the "Into the unknown" part perfectly suits Hoàng Yến's technique, she would shine, but Như Quỳnh did it well, I'm glad to see her place, thank you so much.
Hmm it's really a problem when Korean studios (all studios maybe, I'm a KPOP fan) tend to pitch/make voices sound younger than their real ones, but it's nice to see Hyena, WeiNa, Katja and Nesma in your top. Thank you

It's been awhile since your last ranking; this was a nice thing for me to wake up to! I was not expecting for English to be last, but I am aware that in the UA-cam community, my country's Elsa isn't that beloved (but she has her fans). And finally, someone loves Tamil and Telugu just as much as I do! I am still upset that Shennio, Jobelle, and Anais got replaced- their replacements are good but for me, are nowhere near as great as the predecessors. When I heard that Anais was going to be replaced in the sequel, I felt very sad, I was like, "How could you take away my sweet Anais, Disney???". I know why she had to go though, and I respect her choice to quit. Jelena is a great choice for first place- she IS Elsa!

We have so many disagreements although I really understand what your problem with these vouces are. But I apreciated it that you liked Natasa and Nadezha, two of my favorite Elsas who always seem to be hared by everyone.
Anyway I loved your top eleven, even though they included almost none of my personal top eleven.
This is what my top eleven would look like:

9. Japanese (although I usually don't appreciate those overcute voices, but she's got something interesting to it)

But it's your ranking and your personal opinion, which I respect, and I can't imagine how hard it must be to do a ranking with such great voices

I'm surpised to see I quite agree with your choices up to the 30th place ^^ I'd place Czech and Latin Spanish higher though, but I entirely relate to your comments about the other versions. Then the placements are a little all over the place but it's always a pleasure to have something good said about each version even the lowest ones :) And I'm glad to see some singers I didn't really like in the first film returned in the sequel, like Lithuanian or Slovene, as I can finally say I enjoy them here. My only disagreement is Swedish (I've read she suffered health issues with her throat during the recording and it clearly shows for me :/)

Thanks for the 25th place :) And I've no idea why Taiwan keeps recasting Elsa, I know Shennio Lin was sick when recording F2, but what about Brandy Tien (my personal fave from Taiwan) and as you said, Iduna's singer would be better on Elsa and Elsa's on Iduna...
Well, 23rd, I think she's actually better in F2, Elsa changed there too, from a girl who kinda broke outta jail in a way to a caring queen and later the Fifth Spirit ;)
So I'm not the only one who sees some kind of similarity between Maria Lucia and Mikha :D

The problem with Vietnamese is that they wanted one person to speak and sing and Dương Hoàng Yến was a no-go as she's from the North while the dubs are from the South and use Southern dialect for speaking... But yeah, she would've rocked these songs and the new Elsa with her supernatural sound! But the replacement voice is good, even tho this replacement isn't "invisible" ;) Also, yeah, when like lots of faves is replaced it doesn't feel good :/

The idea of the replacement of Elsa's voice from the Vietnamese dubbing is correct, but the replacement of the Kazakh Elsa from this sequel has been the best for me. So Ainur didn't return for this sequel so she no longer works for Aray Media nor does she no longer work dubbing new Disney movies released since 2018, she was replaced by Begimnur Qalila un the speaking parts and the singing voice is Gulsim, this sequel is from 2019.
A new video from you and I was like WOW!! I guess daily routine drown us down. Okay I don't care about Elsa's voices so I don't have anything to say about. I was expecting Sia's low place and it didn't bother me, after all I prefer her more in other roles. For Anna Buturlina though, totally agree she has no warmth, but that's what I like about her interpretation. I laughed so hard at your comment/segment for Taiwanese 😂 I rarely say I dislike voices, but she's got to be one unfortunately. What makes it worse is that she was chosen because she took singing lessons with the dubbing director 😑 but yesss totally agree that Iduna's voice would have been an amazing Elsa! I've recently been absolutely loving a lot of her own songs, she sounds like a deeper version of Shennio 💞 "she bloomed beautifully" is such a precious way to describe Katja. And your top 10, well, top 11 - glad to see another person who loves Ramya Behara! I'd never imagined Mikha & Maria Lucia to sound alike. Agree that Sophy & Quynh were worthy replacements! and I had nooo idea you were a Jelena fan, so both first & last were surprises, but it was beautifully explained.

Love the songs - the movie wasn't up to the original to me. But a nice one to watch anyway!
I might have to see your Moana ranking to understnd what you mean about Portugal's "raspy, airy voice". It's a bummer she was so low on the list, but oh well. I do think she got better than in Frozen 1. I never found her voice that appealing in Let it Go.

I did enjoy reading your comments about them even if we didn't agree, though. And I had never realised that Marianne and Gúlsim have something similar in their voices, but it's certainly there. And I have completely fallen for Gisela in this movie, what can I say, that one stung a little.
And before I forget! Taiwan, yes! Iduna sounds so much like Shennio that it's no wonder why she's in my top 2 Idunas hahaha. I also wish Brandy had come back, though :(
I'm glad to hear you love your new Elsa, though, she does sound like Anaïs which is nice because her voice was gorgeous. I actually like Charlotte more than I did Anaïs, I ended falling out of love with her over the years, but Charlotte feels so fresh and much more natural so I'm glad that she was casted

It's funny because the 'popular' dubbing languages, the ones I usually love, didn't do as great this time. Willemijn really disappointed me :(

Why Willemijin disappointed you? I personally love she voice, specially in the German version, here she don't sound boring like in Dutch version

Ok now, I kind of saw some of the disagreements coming so I'm not surprised. LOL at Taiwanese! Tbh I think like 90% of Iduna's voices are better than Elsa's, and many of them even would work better on Elsa than the current voices of Elsa XD

I don't have an established opinion on half the voices in the top 11, but the other half I totally love! I think I mentioned this before, but I do prefer Charlotte's take on Elsa over Anais's! I've always thought that Nesma remained just as good in every film after Frozen 1, but I definitely think she surpassed herself in this one :') Beautifully done video as usual! 😌

Personnellement j'aime bien sa voix japonaise. Sinon, en ce qui concerne Idina Menzel je trouve que sa voix forte correspond bien à "Into the Unknown" et à "Let it Go", elle chante très bien mais effectivement elle ne correspond pas très bien à Elsa. Enfin je ne l'aurais pas mise aussi bas mais c'est ton avis après tout.

Alright, here we go again :D. I see we agree with a lot about English here, never liked her either as Elsa. I think everything as to why has already been said honestly xD. Anyway, moving onto your other lower placements I must say: wow, that's my stance too. Czech, Norwegian, Icelandic, Greek (probably not that bad, but I've never known what to make of her voice [send help, what do I do?]), Russian, Turkish and Brazilian Portuguese (low, but maybe not low enough xD? That's sounds so mean, but I probably like her as much as you like Idina honestly, what do you do¯\_(ツ)_/¯?). I am not sure if I disagree or totally agree with you on Hungarian. For me, she's like good, but she never really catches my attention. And there is something in her that I just don't like, or I should say: something I prefer in other renditions. Yeah, I guess we agree here. I think she is in a similar situation as with some other version we will get to. I guess Japanese is my guilty pleasure if you could consider it that even. It's like, she's not one of the best of the best, but you just have to listen to her (according to me), i.e. I like her where she is. Latin American Spanish could've been lower, but I think Castilian is in a nice place. Interesting take on Portuguese, not too sure what to make of it... You really excellently showed your position on Taiwanese, I never cared much for Taiwanese in the first place so I am in a particularly relaxed "whatever" situation xD. I think Dutch/German could've been higher, but I think it's because you prefer others and I don't; in reality, I think we're on a similar page with her. Hebrew is lower for me. We kind of agree with Polish here; I should appreciate her more, but I just can't. Bulgarian is in a similar situation as with Hungarian, so she's lower for me. Ukrainian, Romanian, Latvian and Lithuanian are among the "not for me" group. For me, Croatian is just so forgettable, to this day I haven't really made up my mind on her. Mandarin should have been higher in my opinion. Interesting seeing Estonian and Finnish this high, I think they're something, but not enough to be up here. Ah, here you have Swedish. Interesting take which I agree fully with honestly. Flemish high is also nice to see. Danish in the top 10 was definitely given: "Maria is Maria"-she's should've honestly been higher. Indonesian is WAAY too high for me xD. I never liked Anais, but damn did Charlotte clone a better version of her. It's like Anais is merely the shadow of her, which is ironic when it's normally the other way around. Anyway, I like her this high :). Oh Thai, maybe a guilty pleasure because I love her this high, but I am not sure if I could justify it xD. Anyway, we share something special at least :). I think the Cantonese replacement was a good one. Italian this high, of course. Arabic just has a voice I simply can't go along with. She's isn't bad in other regards, but her voice just isn't Elsa for me. Disappointingly, I don't like Serbian that much either. Anyway, great ranking as always. You've thoroughly thought everything through in this ranking and you can certainly be proud. Great work ^-^.

I’m American so obviously idina’s voice is first for me. Anytime I hear her voice I automatically think straight to Elsa. I do sometimes listen songs and scenes from frozen and frozen 2 in other languages like Norwegian and Spanish. For me it’s weird seeing other voice actors for Elsa.
