Interesting idea. My question is how many times you intend to adjust this? A trimpot has a lifespan of roughly 200 cycles (turns). A potentiometer is rated for 5 million cycles.

i have two doubts: 1) what kind of wire do you use to attach trimmer to pot (the copper ones)?? 2) why do you re-mount the pot resistor if you already have the trimmer (i mean: the drilling part)?? i really dont understand this..and after that, how do you solder the wries, later??? please explain to me...thanx!
@@SinanKeskinDC ok, but my question was: what's the point in solder together trimmer and pot terminal? why do you use both of them, while you could use just the trimmer with the arm of the pot...have i made myself clear?

Muy buena idea...pues es un problema estar regulando el voltaje con un pequeño destornillador, pero hay que tener mucho cuidado con la tarjeta y el trimmer que has sacado por el efecto de la alta temperatura, y al final he notado que las lecturas no son lineales .

Bugün güç kaynağı için uyguladim. Trimpotun kafaya lehim atarak yaptim. Potun miline ince delik açıp trimpotla araya iki kat zil telinden bağlantı yaptım. Çok ta başarılı oldu

Hocam bende elimdeki voltaj yükseltici regülatörün trimpodunu potansiyometreyle değiştirmek istiyorum ama trimpodun hangi bacağının podun hangi bacağına geleceğini anlayamadım yardımcı olurmusnuzu

Devrede bacaklar arasındaki direnci ölç en yüksek çıkan değeri okuduğun bacaklar potansiyometrenin en sağ ve sol bacaklarına denk gelir zaten dikkat edersen ayarı değiştirsen de değer değişmez bu iki bacakta bu bacakları tespit et trimpot şekli itibariyle her zaman pot gibi sıralı olmayabiliyor çünkü. En yüksek değeri okumadığın bacak kalıyor son olarak bu bacak potun orta bacağı. Artık takarken 2 ihtimalin var ona takarken sen bakacaksın burdan sonra bir hata yaparsan sadece ters yönde ayar yapar çalışırken onu da orta bacağı ellemeden sağ ve solu değiştirsen eski haline gelir. Karışık oldu Bir sorun olursa yaz buraya.
