- Watu watatu wamefariki huku wengine zaidi ya 280 wakijeruhiwa baada ya gesi kulipuka na kuwaka moto katika kituo cha kujazia gesi mtaani Kabansora eneo la Embakasi hapa jijini Nairobi. Moto huo ulioanza jana usiku uliteketeza mali ya mamioni ya pesa huku familia zilizokaribu zikiachwa bila makao.

gari hiwezi toka station bila maji. the lorry pours 20ltrs per second the whole lorry carries about 5000ltrs. if they pump 20ltrs per second then the water will last for about 5minutes. people do not know this thats why they mostly say " zima moto walikuja bila maji" no the water is pumped out at a very high speed that makes wananchi think there was no water. now you know

Approximately all Nairobi fire fighters come to fire rescue unprepared. In all at least 5 fire incidents I have experienced while in Nairobi, it is evident that fire engines take too long to arrive, at times with little or no water at all. What an ignorant disaster management.
Me thinks they should drill their own boreholes and have huge water reservoirs at their disposal. Showing up without water in their fire engines is a huge fail on their part.
A water borehole is much cheaper than a fire engine.
Also, Nairobi a house city with various divisions, they should have fire stations with working fire engines distributed in various locations within Nairobi.
