I recently saw Stevie Nicks in Buffalo, and it was the best concert of my life! She is a true legend. I stumbled upon this video of yours, and I am absolutely blown away by this version of the song and the way you captured it. Thank you so much for sharing with us!
Sounds like a cop out! Why would anyone retire just to please someone else's ageist prejudice? Life goes so fast everyone is both old and young simultaneously. Rock and roll is for all ages. Your witnessing one of the final chapters of an incredible legacy and unsurpassed talent, consider it an honor and privilege. So many people try to imitate it and none come close. If she stopped performing, she would be letting millions and millions of people down. She was couped up inside all through Covid and broke free from pandemic isolation to reclaim her career and take back her life. She has been loyal and faithful to her fans all her life she is reveling in epic and has every right to enjoy doing what she dedicated her life to.
Phooey on Grace! What an ageist thing of her to say. It's more like, amateur photographers and recording artists shouldn't publish their work unless it's impeccable. So many audio-visual recording nuances mostly make what you see and hear nothing like it was in person. Of course, as die hard fans it's all perfect! And thank the Lord she has stayed loyal to herself and her fans all these decades. How many of us survived because she had the strength to stand by us? I for one. Your comment makes me think you haven't attended a show because if you did you would love it.
And she is a rock and roll star. There's definitely no pretense about it. Just because Grace copped out doesn't mean everyone should follow her example. It's awesome that Stevie has a hand in undoing some of the ageism that's so rampant in our society. Life gets better not worse.
