The man on the silver mountain, who was the last in line, when the holy divers sang we rock, taught us of heaven and hell, as he drifted away into the neon nights. RIP DIO. 🔥💀☠️🤘🏿
i still beliieve that the game dev that came up for the gold and silver pokemon game was a DIO fan because who do you face as endboss? a man on the silver mountain. yourself, if you played red/blue
Hi Rebeka, fellow RJD fan here, old enough to have seen him in concert twice, once with Sabbath and once with Dio. He had always amazed me! I would also recommend Children of the Sea live. Also check out my new favorite band Liliac. Young band of siblings, singer highly inspired by RJD. She/ they have also amazed me. They do several Dio covers along with some original music that is clearly also inspired 💜
I'm so grateful that there are multiple versions of Dio performing the song throughout his career. You can hear the changes in his voice which got a bit darker and yet he could still sing very very well up into his last days . and it just had more and more personality as the years went by. and you can also hear that the meaning of the lyrics changed inside him as he got older and had more wisdom to draw upon during his performances. That must have been an extraordinary feeling for him as well to hear an audience response so strongly over all those decades to something he wrote when he was much younger. Dio was an extraordinary artist and a brilliant singer
simon wright is very good drummer. the album holy diver was recorded with vinny appice on drums, both are very good heavy metal drummers. legendary metal drummers.
We can count ourselves blessed because since Ronnie James Dio passed away in 2010 (this concert was from 2005), we have a lot of live footage that we can see Ronnie perform... from Rainbow in the 70's, Black Sabbath in the early 80's... Dio from 1983 until 2005... and Heaven & Hell (Dio-era Black Sabbath)... and we have so much music that he recorded from the 60's to his band Elf... then Rainbow, Black Sabbath, and Dio 🤘🤘Some of my faves from Dio - 'We rock'... 'I could have been a dreamer'... 'Rock n roll children'... 'The last in line'... 'Sunset Superman'... 'Hey angel'... 'Straight through the heart'... 🔥🔥
One of the best voices of metal....strong and full of feeling!!! love the choise and your eyes !!! \m/ keep rocking!!.....and dont talk to strangers !! :)
Whether it's making wishes, smelling flowers or dreaming of women, not everything is what it appears to be. Everything in this world can lead down a rabbit hole of distractions and dead ends, finding one caught up in a life and world that one doesn't even want. All of this because what looked and sounded good from the outside i.e shiny objects from a distance, was a sort of mirage. Don't Talk To Strangers, breaks this spell, by being strikingly ironic, unmasking an illusion or deception by being incongruent to one's expectations. This 1983 song in the end really doesn't give you an answer but is more like the saying: "Losing an illusion makes you wiser than finding a truth." - Ludwig Borne.
Another fantastic reaction! Love RJD...Don't Talk to Strangers was the song that introduced me to metal oh so long ago and the album cover was mesmerizing \m/
I love your reactions! You understand the music! More Dio, please! Heaven and hell, or rainbow in the dark ,would be good. Yes, do an interview on Dio!
I'd love to see your reaction for evilution or pain off strange highways album thats as far as I'm concerned his heaviest album . I'm so glad another generation found dio 🤘🤘
Hey, Rebs! You've reacted to a few live Dio performances but from his later years. He's always excellent but his voice wasn't quite as strong by this time (his sixties) as it was in the '70s and '80s. Definitely check out his earlier stuff with Rainbow, Black Sabbath, his solo band, etc..
Rebeka dear ! would you please check out and react to one of the earliest Dio song "Nevermore" when he was with the band Elf (1974). Elf was taken over by Ritchie Blackmore and the guitarist was thrown out by Ritchie to initiate the journey of the band Rainbow. Never more is a fabuouls piece of rock music !
Wow 👏 your really starting to rock out girl simply awesome great performance by Dio and now may I suggest the live concert song Take hold of the flame by Queensryche also featuring a GREAT singer named Geoff Tate you'll surely enjoy 😉 😀

"Stargazer" is a great epic story telling song when Dio was with Rainbow that you should check out.
Yeah if you want to be cliche and recommend the same thing everyone else does.
@@justinwalters7953 as cliche as your comment. Just starting with the best.
Another great reaction to one of the greatest singers of all time....

Rebeka, check out R.J.D. and the charity event called Hear N Aid. It was the heavy metal answer to We Are The World. I think you'll really enjoy it.

RJD was highly intelligent and gave great/insightful interviews. Also, he was always really appreciative of his fans.
Rebeka great job with your reaction and analysis on Don't Talk To Strangers live performance from Dio .

You've also reacted to Rainbow's "Temple of the King" with a different vocalist, the song was co-written and originally performed by RJD.

The concert audio was clipping. I think it is too loud when you insert it on top of your reaction.
Hello Rebeka you look nice
