Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan arrives in India for State Visit

President of United Republic of Tanzania, Samia Suluhu Hassan arrived for state visit to India on Oct 08. She received a grand welcome with traditional dance and songs at the airport. President Samia Suluhu Hassan will be accorded a ceremonial welcome at forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhawan. She will meet President Droupadi Murmu during her visit from Oct 8 to Oct 10. President Murmu will also host a state banquet for President Samia Suluhu Hassan. The Tanzanian President will hold a detailed bilateral dialogue with PM Modi. She will also participate in a business and investment forum in New Delhi on October 10. Notably, a Presidential visit from Tanzania is taking place after a span of over 8 years.
