Motzart said that Handle understands music so much better than most of us & when he chooses "He strikes like a thunderbolt" from one musical genius composer to another. Baroque will always have a special place in my Hedy 💖 & my hearts. Thank Mon Ami. Arnaud & Linda 🐶💙🤗🙏🌏🌎🌍

Handel was also Beethoven’s favorite composer!

The greatest performance of the Ode I've ever heard, and that's saying a lot. The work covers the creation of the universe out of 'a heap of jarring atoms', all the way down to The Youngest Day (as Händel's countrymen called it), when 'The dead shall live, the living die, and Musick shall untune the sky'. Everyone is on top form here: soloist, orchestra, chorus and conductor. Thank you, Manoli!
