I bought the Freewing Me-262 about a year ago. Didn’t maiden it till last weekend. I put the Spektrum AR-637T in it for the 3 flight modes and having the gains adjustable on the R Knob. My mom told me I have always been a procrastinator. I didn’t get a birthmark till I was 8. I wasted a year just looking at this EDF. It was a piece of cake to fly. Very similar to the Flightline 1600mm Corsair and the 1600mm Spitfire. Very stable, easy to takeoff. Landings..... I did shear off the front gear pin on the 2nd landing. Not the Me-262’s fault, I’m the worst lander of tricycle landing gear in the history of aviation. Great plane, Freewing tough, easy build and without any Spektrum assistance flies on rails. Can’t wait for the 3 replacement pins for the front gear strut to show up. I’ll have the 262 back in the air the next day.
Mine was the old V1 6 blade from when Banana Hobbies had the freewing product, freewing has changed so much from those days! Motion RC has totally rocked by taking over freewing! Freewing has the best jets as far as selection and scale infidelity!
IMPORTANT ASSEMBLY NOTE: The tail section is attached with 3 screws, NOT JUST 2. The hole for the third screw is hidden by the red stripe. Rub your finger along the middle on the bottom of the fuselage and you will feel the indentation. You can easily pop through the red tape and drive in the screw with a long Phillips head.
proud owner of the V1 outrunner version! love this jet!.... just wish they installed a 100deg. nose retract or at least made one available, drop in ready.
I really want this plane but seeing second hand ones where the nose has fallen off along with the landing gear puts me off. Does anyone know if a v3 will ever come ??
@@old-rcplane-phart Well, V2 has been there for awhile as this model used to come in a different color, then the outrunners were updated later, and now they moved to inrunners.
To bad they didn't come up with easy connect wings for wiring. Seem look like be pain in butt transport ? Anyone have issues with machine screws holding on wing ? im assuming transporting it with wing off..
Actually, this transports easy for me, I just never break any connections, you can take the screws out and then just turn the wings parallel to the fuse and set the fuselage on top. I just put a towel or blanket between them
wish you could get one unpainted, so we could make an accurate job. this one looks good in the air, toyi like on the ground....also if the rivets on this model were scaled up they would be one inch in diameter, their way to big, adding to the toy look.

I agree freewing does have the best jets I’m looking into HSD but idk 1,500 for a t33 is a big chunk
WOW what a GREAT looking plane Sir
Thanks Motion for the only build vid for this plane... you guys rock 🤘😎

Another informative build James, no glue and 9 screws, wicked!
Gotta love that right?
Nice work James. You do a great job on your build videos and I love the detail.
Appreciate that!
Nothing to that BUILD. Great PLANE very well made thanks for posting 🇬🇧🛫🛩️🚁✈️🛬♥️ MOTION RC 👍🤩
Incredible bird! 👍😮😊
what a beautiful aircraft :D
Great to see the build James 👍🏻
shh. don't say "BUILD" around these parts...
@@MotionRC hehe, what should I have said 🤓
@@DadsRCHangar We "assemble" now
@@MotionRC that makes sense, considering they are easy to “Assemble”, it’s only me that likes to make it hard by adding stuff 😎
Great looking plane.
definetly my next edf

Very nice plane I have heard
for sure. solid flyer
I hope the inrunner version is available soon in the MotionRC eu shop🙂
Glad to see you use a Futaba radio not spectrum.
Wow
World's first operational combat jet, far from the world's first jet. On my list........... one day.
👌

New version?
Now comes with inrunner motors. Might as well update the videos
I.E. "version 2". Printed on the box.

👍 video!
I still don't understand WHY manufacturers use crappy Phillips hardware! Hex head would be more realistic! IMHO

@@MotionRC ok thats good to know thanks
can a gyro be installed?
A gyro can be installed on any rc aircraft

Many thanks . You missed a screw at the back .
Three not two. 😫😫😫
Seems Pathetic that they dont even label the wires cmon freewing quit being cheap n lazy
