10:51 True statement. Just recently got a gold top with p90s. What an amazing guitar. The hum makes me smile. Playing it live for the first time this Sunday
Before anyone tries to bite my head off, remember it's personal opinion and taste. But, you couldn't give me any of the Gibson guitars having owned a couple of Les Paul Customs, and Classics. My go to is the Yamaha SG-1000, and when I'm in a less muso mood, I'll whip out my Yamaha SG-510. Dated 1982, and '84, respectively. They do call the Yamaha SG 'The Les Paul Killer, and they're absolutely correct.
Lol. I had a couple of the new Revstars (an Element and a Standard). Both very nice guitars but I ended up selling them for something else. I think Yamaha products, whether motorcycles, home audio, pro audio, musical instruments, etc. are generally very good to great, especially for the price. I have a lot of respect for the brand.
@@JAL-cc8jd You liked the Revstars. Did you? I'm quite curious about them. I've just never happened upon one whenever I've frequented music shops. They are a very eclectic brand, indeed. I have a stereo integrated amplifier by Yamaha. But, i didn't seek it out for the brand. I must admit, their products do seem very popular.
@ The Revstar is a nice guitar for sure. I too have a Yamaha integrated amp. Bought it a few years ago to replace a Yamaha integrated amp I bought in 1991 that was still working just fine but lacked the digital inputs I needed. The new one isn’t quite as solid as the old one but still very good. There’s a lot of things that aren’t made like they used to be. 😀
Nice, I enjoy these videos. Suggestion, change the angle of your static camera showing the guitar in the case. If it is set lower you could get more of the guitar in frame, and it might also show the figured tops better.
Can you tell why no one ever orders a 54 Les Paul Custom in Pelham Blue? I think it would look amazing but I've never even seen a picture of one! They've done Pelham blue on every other guitar!
@@materix1411 I'm wondering if Gibson refuse to do them in Pelham Blue for some reason, but I'm not willing to spend 7 grand to find out! That's why I was hoping Peach Guitars would answer!
@@S-T-E-V-E I'm sorry that I'm not Peach Guitars 😁, but I can assure you they don't "refuse" to do them in the colour. It's one of the colours in the made 2 measure catalogue💁♂️ Just call the Gibson Garage and talk to them. Problem solved. I was just trying to help✌️
Huge fan of that silverburst! 🤌
Locking Tuners always game changer .. Ohh the 355 , one of my Fav's with custom buckers

The doublecut Junior was the bit in a movie where the music stops abruptly/ discordantly!
Those gold tops with P90s really are something
Thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks for watching!
Ending on a Gold Top Les Paul is glitzy enough for me John! Great guitars there! thank you
Kudos on the unboxing format. Good shot of the case opening.
Excellent unboxing! Keep em coming Peach! 🎸
I love Customs. Give me a sleak black or white Custom over a burst any day.
Absolutely beautiful selection you have there.
Can’t wait see all the beautiful and awesome guitars!!!!🎸🎸🤘🏻🤘🏻

So, you’re saying you like Yamaha? 😂
@@JAL-cc8jd No! 😝 I love the Yammie SG, though.

Great review, thanks for the lefties John,
Could you add a price guide when showing the guitars? Thanks

That last gold top to end the video is a 54? Possibly I am wrong, but doesn’t the first 6 mean 56?
Must be a 56 as it has the abr1
It's a '56! There was so many Gold Tops to keep track of!
Wow
Just ❤ this Gibson, even the colour is fantastic! The sound has to age a little but who am i?
That Byrdland tho... ❤
Do they make anything NOT aged?

Why don't you order one through the m2m program? I'm currently waiting on my m2m murphy lab... 💁♂️
