When down Exe at parents place all I seem to catch is Bass and Mullet.
There are loads of bass but I’ve never had a mullet from the EXE.. good effort, the flounder tend to show more in the colder months
@@FullonFishing1 well the Mullet come from where the yellow and red ferry pulls up, just on front of Marina wall, up from mussel mans wash lock up.

I bet there were shit loads off flounders out there ! But as its breeding season there pre occupied! I think there like catching a salmon going up the river to spawn ... you get a bite by making them go on instinct to bite a bait ... please don't take this the wrong way !! But if your a flounder full up with spunk or eggs ! Last thing they are going to do is eat those five worms you put on that hook 🪝. Like carp fishing in summer put baits out ! In winter put one hook bait out .. I've had more flounders since at this time off year my worm covers the hook and has a inch past the shank ! And I use ball weights so the baits are always moving .
