TY for this. My precious cat also came from PetSmart adoption room back in 2008. She passed in 2022. Best cat ever. I have been so sad ever since she passed. Functioning of course but so so sad. When the lady in the vid mentioned "mental health" that lit a light bulb in me just now. TY TY. I think I am ready for another little guy or girl. TY😻😻

I just love, Odie. I suffer with depression and I have a cat Phoebe and she knows when I need her and it always amazes me. I could be laying in bed reading a book and maybe something in the book made me sad and right away. She’s on my lap. She likes to also get under the covers and it’s just so adorable, she really help me with my depression. She gives you unconditional love she doesn’t care what you look like what you do for a living what you smell like she only cares about love she gives you love and you give it back to her. I always try to say something positive because this world is so full of negative but on occasion, I have to say something that I wish I didn’t have to say I wish that people could care about each other no matter what religion what color their skin is or what country they’re from I wish the people would understand that the more we hate the stronger evil becomes in the more you invite the devil in I hope that small comments I make will bring someone a little joy or give thought to a situation. I pray for peace and a unity among people no matter what God you pray to, or if you pray to no God at all. I don’t have all the answers. Cats know how to do that good unconditional loving stuff that we humans need! Each one has a unique purrsonality. Some act aloof, others affectionate. Some serious and dignified, others rambunctious and silly, purrpetual kittens. They are truly therapeutic, allies with owl eyes! 🐈⬛🦉💖😍

I have shared heart and home with rescue cats and dogs my whole life and 30 years with giant breed dogs and kitty cats great Danes each Kitty and dogs have had each shared their own unique story and a very learned journey I have learned from and for them and truly believe that all beings created on this earth has a soul given them by God I wrote this along time ago after the loss of our first great Dane duke

I do agree that cats have amazing effect on one's mental heath. As always, the sight of a cat in comical poses and making loving gestures never fails to bring laughter and warmth.
I have a cat too a black and white cat with a stubby tail her name is Oreo and I found her 2 years ago almost and she means everything to me I found her lost and crying outside and I took her in and she’s very special and has helped me get over depression and just a bad part of my life basically saved me from depression and almost committing suicide she has been everything and I wish all animals not just cats to have loving homes
