The same can be said about Lexie breaking down Meredith's walls, which lead to Meredith slowly but surely letting her in, becoming a better big sister to her. Then when Maggie comes into her life, Meredith is able to let _her_ in a lot more quickly and without a lot of fuss, or scrutiny, or dislike on her end. Lexie did the "hard part"

his personal issues aside, isaiah washington really played burke so well. he gave him depth. he made us believe that burke really is one of the best cardio surgeons in the world. from the elegance of how he moves his hands to his restrained passion for surgery and cristina. a refreshing mirror to patrick dempsey's derek who only had 2 emotions: pissed off or arrogant.

After so many years and I still can't get over this couple. I love Dr. Burke so much. I was heart broken when Shonda Rhimes took him away from me so early. up to this day I can't move to watch season 4. I only re-watch seasons 1 to 3 over and over again. Dr. Burke was my McDreamy. He was the one who caught my attention/eyes from the first episode in season 1. I saw clips in season 10 on UA-cam when he gave Cristiana his hospital. Burke truly loved Cristina and gave her all she ever wanted. No other man could have done that for Cristina. I hope I can ready or see clips on UA-cam that in the season finale of Grey's Anatomy Burke and Cristina are married

I loved that Burke and Cristina always broke at the same time. This argument and then when she told the chief about Burke's hand when they had to operate on George's dad. She didn't really "apologize" but she did acknowledge his feelings and then he proposed.

I might be crazy, but Cristina wasnt as difficult as Burke and Owen made her seem. She knew what she wanted, even bent to some of their wishes, but they were trying to break her into a woman they wanted her to be. At least, Burke figured that out in the end. Owen was more damaged than Cristina and had the nerve to be on a high horse.

I still haven't and I never will. For me the show ended after season 3. I was really connected to their storyline. Sad he had to leave because of on-set issues. The reason I liked the couple so much was, their problems were more close to real life, not just reel life.

Damn....when Grey's was a good, breathtaking and heartbreaking show. I guess I should rewatch til Season 7 or 8, I mean after that it got slowly downstairs with the show. Don't get me wrong, I'm still reading Synopsis about what's happening in current seasons but this won't get me, especially the Station 19 crossovers. I really miss the old cast, Addison, George, Burke, Mark and Lexie ... Now the storylines are boring. I wish for Christina to come for a visit in GSMH and says "why happened to this place?" And then take Meredith and her kids with her to Switzerland. Mer should end up with McVet ^^

I've heard that Preston Burke might be coming back in season 15 but I just know that he came in season 10 because he wanted Christina to take over for him while he spends time with his family that he wanted. Hopefully he'll be in the show but don't know for sure yet though. Can't wait for it to come back on. Preston Burke and Christina were the couples ever in the show. I've also heard that Christina might show up in season 15 as a guest star maybe. So we'll just wait and see. I always thought that Preston Burke was hot and good looking in the show and a great actor.
