There are a couple of moments, eg 3:23 and 3:59 where M looks at José, and for those split seconds I don’t see Madonna the Icon, I see a friend looking at another old friend with love and affection and, no doubt, much nostalgia. A friend with whom she made so many beautiful memories. They would have had no idea at the time that what they were creating would become so iconic. A moment that not only had cultural relevance at the time, but would continue to be acknowledged decades later as a significant moment in Pop AND LGBT history! I’m almost emotional! Lol

Mercy celebrating her 18th B-Day at MSG in front of tens of thousands of people...😳🤯 And then having your mom be a living legend and take you across the globe to different countries & cities to people that are excited to see her and you perform?! That is something 99.9% of the population will never experience. Amazing!
