The Ring prolongs life, but not in a pleasant way. In the book, Tolkien has Gandalf say, " A mortal, Frodo, who keeps one of the Great Rings, does not die, but he does not grow or obtain more life, he merely continues, until at last every minute is a weariness...sooner or later the dark power will devour him."
And the Nazgul actually don't have a "look" outside of the unseen realm. They wear those robes because without them they have no shape of their own, so it's not like you could take it away and see their real bodies or something. And without a shape in the mortal world they couldn't interact with material stuff.

Gandalf was filmed on the smaller one, which it look small and cramped. Digital editing then spliced their scenes together. EVERY prop in Bag End head to be replicated at two different scales..
A few details: pipe-weed is tobacco, not marijuana; magic in LotR is both more subtle and more profound than it is in Harry Potter; Peter Jackson, LotR's director, has a background in horror, and this pops up at certain moments (the jump scares and unsettling close-ups, obviously; also, note that each time the Ringwraiths appear there are more, until all nine are chasing Frodo and Arwen); Gandalf doesn't know at first the true nature of the Ring that Bilbo has - he knows that it is _a_ magical ring, not The One Ring ("There are many magic rings in this world, Bilbo Baggins, and none of them should be used lightly!") - there is in the book a full _seventeen-year time gap_ between Bilbo's party and Frodo's departure during which Gandalf tries to discover the true nature of Bilbo's ring and how it came to be where it was; this actually plays into your question as to Frodo's age - he's 33 (the hobbits' equivalent of 18) at the party and a full 50 years old during the main action of the story; as far as Sauron's nature? He's a Maia, an angelic spirit (albeit a fallen and corrupt one). The Maiar are servants of the Valar (the archangels), who in turn serve Eru Ilúvatar (God). Oh, how did they achieve the size difference between the shorter folks (hobbits and dwarves) and the Big Folk? There were several clever strategies: blue-screen compositing, for one, and filming on two differently-sized sets; plus body doubles (both extra-large for when the focus was on the hobbits and extra-small when focusing on the Big Folk), and forced perspective (the actor playing the larger character is actually placed much closer to the camera than the one playing the smaller character, creating the illusion of size difference). There's some fascinating behind-the-scenes stuff detailing the various tricks they used! Many of your questions will be answered over the course of the story.
As a matter of fact, in that aerial shot of the wraiths chasing Arwen and Frodo across the plain, there are only eight. Apparently Peter Jackson couldn't get a ninth equestrian that day.

Fun fact about Sauron, Gandalf, and Sauruman. They are all essentially angels from a higher realm. Once Sauron was trying to take over Middle Earth. Gandalf and Sauruman along with 3 others were sent to Middle Earth as protection. They take the forms of old men to not scare regular people
They take that form in the third age as those traits were symbols of both wisdom and power especially to those descended from the 3 houses of the Edain!❤
The comparison to maiar as angels is convenient. But I feel like it's a stretch to say they are essentially the same thing. Also, it's unclear how "old" the wizards were when they first took those forms. And it's important to note that their powers are limited and they have limited memory of their life as maiar. From LOTR Appendix B I believe: "...they were forbidden to match his power with power, or to seek to dominate Elves or Men by force and fear. They came therefore in the shapes of Men, though they were never young and aged only slowly, and they had many powers of mind and hand." From Unfinished Tales: "For it is said indeed that being embodied the Istari had need to learn much anew by slow experience and though they knew whence they came the memory of the Blessed Realm was to them a vision from afar off, for which (so long as they remained true to their mission) they yearned exceedingly."
Basically all modern fantasy after Tolkien is basically just a collection of LOTR fan fiction and then fanfictions of the fanfiction ect. . And Rowling didn't just rip of Tolkien, she "took inspiration" from a bunch of different authors. There were a lot of people who claimed she ripped of Ursula K. Le Guin as well, but Le Guin herself once wrote that she didn't felt that way, but added: "though she could have been more gracious about her predecessors. My incredulity was at the critics who found the first book wonderfully original. She has many virtues, but originality isn’t one of them. That hurt."
24:20 The epic soundtrack lyrics: Adunaic (A language that in the LOTR universe is as dead as Classical Latin is in ours) _Nêbâbîtham Magânanê_ _Nêtabdam dâur-ad_ _Nêpâm nêd abârat-aglar_ _îdô Nidir nênâkham_ _Bârî’n Katharâd_ English (A modern real-world language that Professor Tolkien didn't seem to think was totally adequate to express his vision) We renounce our Maker. We cleave to the darkness. We take unto ourselves the power and glory. Behold! We are the Nine, The Lords of Unending Life.
Hobbits are simple folk who don’t desire power, so they’re less easily corrupted by the ring. Also Wizards aren’t really old men, they’re equivalent to angels; I.e. Spirits called Maiar, sent to Middle Earth thousands of years ago to help people resist Sauron (Also a Maiar) It’s a role of guidance, they aren’t allowed to us their full power for risk of it doing more harm than good.
As I recall, Frodo is in his 30's. Hobbits have an extended childhood with a long period of little responsibility. Frodo has not long ago attained what we would call adulthood and is Bilbo's nephew and heir. Their feet are large, hairy for warmth and, as you see, with soles as tough as boots. They are not "men" in the strictest sense, something that will become vitally important late in the film, although many people miss the significance. They are small, although "Bullroarer" Took, an ancestor of Pippin, was big enough to ride a standard horse. (He also invented golf. In a time when Hobbits had to fight evil, he knocked a goblin's head off, and it went down a rabbit hole.) Shire Hobbits have little contact with men. Other Hobbits, such as those of Brie where the inn was, live peacefully with men. Gollum/Smeagle was of an old race related to Hobbits. Aragorn is, of course a man, although of the ancient race of Numenor who have long lives. He was raised in Rivendale with the elves and has known Arwen all his life. Elrond is actually known in other places as Elrond Halfelven, so is mixed blood but is empowered as an elf. There are dwarves, Gimli being one (John Ryss-Davies - remember Indiana Jones' digger - think about him and get an idea of forced perspective used here). And Orks and their sort of Orks 2.0, Uruk Hai (the guy born from the placental sac.) Plus assorted goblins, trolls, a demon, ents, and a few one-offs not seen in the film. Wizards are a special case, being essentially men but altered by their spells. They have existed for an extremely long time.
This is correct when Bilbo turned 111 it was also Frodo's 33rd birthday. 33 is an important year for hobbits, it is their coming of age essentially becoming an adult.
32:14. Dude...that was the sword that started it all, the sword that ended Sauron himself. Severed the connection between Dark Lord and Ring of Power, destroying Sauron utterly. That thing is a relic. You keep it for the same reason a museum displays the "Mona Lisa." The movie established this here 2:57🤦♂
The reason tehy don't cut the ring of the hand of sauron earlier is becuase the body of sauron was one of the most resistant because the sword that cut him is a very powerful sword because of those common weapons did not hurt him
You'll be missing alot without the extended and the subtitles. Tolkien isn't for those needing a quick movie fix or to plop something onto their channel, lol. this isn't just some movie people literally grew up being read these books from parents who even got personal letters from tolkien as he wrote back everyone, that man was super humble and graceful, full of humility.
Bilbo was sort of corrupted by the ring. He was very reluctant to give it up, after all. Hobbits have a sort of resistance to the ring because the ring promises power and hobbits aren't really interested in that. Also, Bilbo didn't really use the ring over the 60 years he had it.
The ring also gives corrupting power to its wielder in accordance to their own power. For a hobbit, it just acts like an invisibility ring and prolongs life. If Gandalf or Elrond had the ring, they would be mega-powerful and the more you use the ring, the more it corrupts.
To clarify things, Elros and Elrond were half elven who can choose to be mortal or immortal bec of their parents, Earendil and Elwing both half elven made a great sacrifice and went to Valinor to ask for help. Instead of being punish, the Valar listened to them, that led to a great hosts of Valar and Maiar went to Middle Earth that laid waste to Beleriand. After the War Of Wrath, the valar rewarded them for their sacrifices. They can choose to be elf or men, including their children. They chose immortally, but never return to ME bec they thought that their twin sons had died. But they Didn't die. Elrond chose to be immortal while his twin brother Elros chose to be mortal. He founded the Kingdom of Numenor. He lived in Numenor Island and blessed with a long life that include his descendants Those men who fought for the war were rewarded a long life but not their families or children. Only the family of Elrond can choose to be immortal or mortal in which Arwen did. Aragorn is the direct descendant of Elros, thats why he has a long life. The average lifespan of a Numenorean at their height was a few thousand years maximum! Remember this is the SHORT version, there are so many moving parts that will make you want to dive into the books or the audio books or even do reaction videos to the famous lore videos by the biggest lore channels out there! Just know too that Gandalf (Olorin) is also a Maia sent in the late second age and third age as a clandestine emissary to help guide and teach Men and help rekindle Hope (Estel) Saruman (Curumo{Curunir as named by the elves meaning Skilled One}) is one of the many Maiar as well!! I also recommend doing a react video as you watch Tolkien Untangled's video titled "Eldon's Epic Story" Captioned " it's a sad story" please!! ♥ OmarioRPG has done reaction videos to the lore videos and even the music from some amazing people that brought to life the poems and songs from the book!! ♥
"Gandalf is like a celebrity in this small town?" Not only that, but in the world of Middle Earth, he historically was the one who invented fireworks. As for Gandalf not wanting the ring, he's not just an old man. He's an Istari, a literal divine being sent to Middle Earth by the gods in order to help keep watch against Sauron. The temping power of the ring though means that if Gandalf had it, he might get corrupted and then all of his power would be in service of evil, and he's wise enough to know that it would be unsafe to risk that.
@@Puggapillar You'd love Tolkien Untangled then along side Voice Of Geekdom that made GREAT videos about him. Especially Men Of The West. do reaction videos, please!! OmarioRPG is the biggest domino starter for this line of reaction video. And gives more reason for content creation as well as appreciating Tolkiens Works, not just some guy who wrote something. ♥
There was a version of all three movies on UA-cam in which every time Sam took another step the "If I take one more step, it'll be the farthest away from home I've ever been" scene is played.
"I wanna live there, where do I go" uh....new Zealand, in fact there's a hotel in New Zealand that you literally stay in hobbit holes built into the ground like in the shore. Most of this trilogy was shot in New Zealand, aka pretty Australia
Great video The Lord of the Rings trilogy is amazing But I’d strongly recommend you to watch the extended version of the third Lord of the Rings movie because in the original version there are missing a couple of scenes which are important to the movie
If you'rre confused by the ring, think of it as an horcruxe but an horcruxe with a will of its own who wants to go back to Voldemort. And, instead oh making who carriy it grumpy (like Ron in Deathly Hollows) it will slowly corrupt him and the people around him. But Hobbits like Sam or Frodo aren't corrupted (or much less than other people) because Hobbits aren't after power, they don't want to conquer more territory or rule more people, all they want is a peaceful life
Bilbo threw some glorious shade and did it so smoothly it flew right under everyone's noses without being noticed. "I don't know half of you half as well as I should like-" Frodo said earlier half the Shire was invited, and the other half showed up anyhow. Bilbo is calling out the gatecrashers and saying he'd like to know them LESS, as in he is straight-up saying he wishes they'd never shown up. "-and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve." Bilbo is saying that, of the people he actually invited, he doesn't actually like a lot of them and only invited them out of propriety, or else likes them more than he feels they deserve he should. Both ways is an insult. He basically insulted all of the Shire STRAIGHT TO THEIR FACES and got away with it.
Yeah. Tolkien was a hardcore Catholic and his fantasy works are heavily influenced by it. Which is quite funny considering most people would rather identify the Nordic and Celtic themes. There is even the idea that Frodo, Gandalf and Aragorn each represent one aspect of the threefold office of Jesus. Frodo is the priest who is willing to sacrifice himself for the sins (represented by the ring) of the world. But he is also not Jesus and Tolkien couldn't make him as holy as Jesus, so (spoiler) he refused to fulfill his quest in the last moment and decides to keep the ring for himself. Gandals is the prophet who speaks the words of God and is therefore the link between the divine and the mortals. And Aragorn plays the role of the wise king.

The DVD release of the Extended Edition comes with 2 DVDs worth of behind the scenes documentaries on how they did all the special effects. They used a camera trick called forced perspective to make the hobbits look small when surrounded by humans. They basically had the hobbit actors further away from the camera and the human actors closer. They then had the actors look at a tennis ball on a stick to get the eyelines to line up. The wagon ride with Frodo and the scene with Frodo and Gandalf sitting at the table had camera movements, so they had a rig that the actors sat on that moved with the camera, keeping the actors at the same distance. ua-cam.com/video/QWMFpxkGO_s/v-deo.html
Pretending to end it abruptly reminded me of the parody novel Bored of the Rings. In it, Frito and Spam get into whatever the funny name for Mordor is, see how far they still have to go, basically say f*** it, throw the ring around Goddam's neck, and push him in a tar pit.
Nice reaction. BTW, Frodo is 50 years old when he leaves the Shire with the Ring. And Elrond is actually between 6 and 7 thousand years old at the time of the War of the Ring.
@@Eowyn187 Actually, hobbits are considered teenagers during their 20s. A hobbit 'comes of age' ie. is considered an adult when they reach 33. In the books Frodo and Bilbo share the same birthdate. When Bilbo is celebrating his 111th birthday, Frodo is celebrating his coming of age (his 33rd birthday) during the same party. Then 17 years pass between that day and when Frodo leaves the Shire with the Ring.
There are two kind "funny" reactions to this masterpiece: The ones that sound forced, superficial, cheap and feel like an insult, and the ones who are legit, heartfelt and natural like yours. My friend, you've got a hardcore fan watcher to the end of the ride. I trust this movies will surprise you. (speaking of witch... you should've seen the cinema havoc back then with the bilbo face-warp. Hilarious!)
6:21 fun Shire fact lol, Ian McKellen (Gandalf) actually hit his head on that beam just after the chandelier, since the real hobbit homes in New Zealand are really that small lol. They just caught it on camera and decided to keep it. They do that a few times in this trilogy 😂
Yeah, they glossed over the 17 year time jump after the party, so he’s probably still 33 in the film. Nevertheless, Elijah Wood was only 20 years old. 🤦♂️
Nah, not divisive: just go and get the Extendeds - the "cinematic version" is misleading because the "extended" is *actually* the version the movies where supposed to be seen, the cinematic cut is essentially what was expected to be acceptable to cinematic audiences. They are missing important things, Fellowship not so much, but the rest is. Best regards Raoul G. Kunz
@@SubterrelProspector What? There might be interpretations and maybe mistaken assertions, but I'm pretty sure it's not all wrong - please differentiate!^^ Best regards Raoul G. Kunz
Really happy to see you’re doing these! I love your reactions and I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of the series. I will say that you should really consider just going for the extended editions. The time is daunting, but even the theatrical cuts are over three hours in some cases, and the extended editions contain a few scenes that are honestly vital to the overall story. That being said, if you don’t choose to do the extended cuts I’m still looking forward to the videos!!
i have to admit i am a pretty hardcore fan of LOTR and i used to be one of those people who got upset at people making jokes but i've come to realize that everyone enjoys movies in different ways and just because you make jokes doesnt mean you are disrespecting it
Ah yes, the LotR is a mash-up movie plot between Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Star Wars and The Matrix which is why all the characters are the same and that's how it was a discount budget which is why it was filmed in New Zealand. They paid the hobbits "half" wages and spend the rest of the money on Orlando Bloom. Everybody knows that by now. :)
I would say that the Extended Cut for this movie is the only one that was worth seeing, cause it is a huge improvement from its Theatrical Cut. The rest are mostly okay. But still a pretty good reaction to this. Also it's funny you say Gandalf looks like Dumbeldore, cause the actor for Dumbeldore says he always gets mistaken for him, and so did he too
As far as all the Harry Potter references, J.K. Rowling took much inspiration from the Lord of the Rings for many details of her story. Notice how the Nazgûl, or Ringwraiths, are similar to Dementors. And the Ring itself has many similarities to Horcruxes, with the Dark Lord pouring some of his essence into the Ring. And of course there is the Gandalf and Dumbledore comparisons. Obviously, nothing is directly copied, but the influence is undeniable.
They actually built the hobbit hole that is Bilbo's home Bag End. It's still there in New Zealand. Ian McKellan (Gandalf) hit his head for real and they left it in. In hobbit age Pippin is the equivalent of a teenager because hobbits aren't considered adults until they turn 33.
Saruman, the White Wizard, was played by Christopher Lee. For movie horror buffs in the second half of the 20th Century, he WAS Dracula in many British movies. I'm sure that he will always be remembered as such (and as Saruman) rather than "Count Dookoo") .
Hobbits live to around 100 and are considered of age or adult at 33. Frodo was supposed to be the oldest at 50 making him middle aged. Sam and Merry were 38 and 36 so equal to our early 20’s. Pippin was the baby of the group, 28 when the left the Shire. That makes him around 16 in human years, good to keep in mind since he seems older but does things a teen would do - he’s not dense he’s just young, naive and foolish.
If you want to know your Hobbit height, you take away exactly 2 feet away from your actual height. So 5'6" is 3'6" and 6'1" is 4'1" if you were a Hobbit.
the clips with gandalf where filmed with a table on gandalfs side with small tables and food and all and on the hobbit side its mega huge and its all a game of perspective.
What is not clear in the movies but you learn from the books is that Sauron, the Balrogs (there was an army of them in the First Age) and the Wizards are all the same kind of being. Demi-gods named "Maia." Sauron and the Balrogs followed a rebel god in the first age. The Wizards were send by the other gods in the Third Age to battle Sauron. This dynamic is an undercurrent in some scenes of the movie without being explained. Of the Wizards, two wandered off to the East and play no role in the story. One, the Brown Wizard, goes native and cares only about nature...he is not really in the books but is in the Hobbit movies. Gandalf the Grey is the only one who keeps to his original path. Saruman gets...well, he goes a different route.
If you are ever in Los Angeles, pay a visit to Warner Bros. studio and do the tour. They show you exactly how the hobbits were made small. Some of it was as simple as having the characters walk in ditches along side others. But mostly it was using the camera depth of perception tricks and having some characters sit closer to the camera while others were farther away. Pretty slick what one can do with simple ingenuity and it still looks more realistic than the overly cgi stuff we have today. Here's a quick video. ua-cam.com/video/QWMFpxkGO_s/v-deo.html

So the ring doesn't affect hobbits in the way that it affects everyone else because it acts on your desires. It takes whatever it is you want - good or evil - and amplifies it to the point that you eventually become convinced that using its power is the only way to achieve your aims. This is why even the most well-intentioned person can eventually be twisted into whatever it wants them to be. That said, hobbits, unlike most of the races living around them, just don't particularly want much of anything. They're not especially ambitious and are largely content to live life exactly as they already are, so the ring doesn't have a whole lot to latch on to. All Bilbo ever really wanted was get out of town (something which even in itself was very out of the ordinary for hobbits) and prank his neighbors in the process, and that's exactly what he used it for.

Many of your questions will be answered over the course of the story.
it's a kind of tobacco in the books, Tolkien was very strict about that. Jackson made it so it was actual weed in the movies
As a matter of fact, in that aerial shot of the wraiths chasing Arwen and Frodo across the plain, there are only eight. Apparently Peter Jackson couldn't get a ninth equestrian that day.

They came therefore in the shapes of Men, though they were never young and aged only slowly, and they had many powers of mind and hand."
From Unfinished Tales: "For it is said indeed that being embodied the Istari had need to learn much anew by slow experience and though they knew whence they came the memory of the Blessed Realm was to them a vision from afar off, for which (so long as they remained true to their mission) they yearned exceedingly."
Funny you made the HP comparisons because people often say she "took inspiration" from the LOTR 😄
Well, she did.
The quotation marks aren't meant to indicate she didn't, but to subtly imply she totally ripped it off 🤣
Basically all modern fantasy after Tolkien is basically just a collection of LOTR fan fiction and then fanfictions of the fanfiction ect.
That hurt."
@@Kuhmuhnistische_Partei Respect to Ursula Le Guin for that.
Honestly Tolkien used a bunch of archetypes that have existed for hundreds of years and took inspiration from mythology too
Gandelf is played by Ian McKellen ( Magneto)

English (A modern real-world language that Professor Tolkien didn't seem to think was totally adequate to express his vision)
We renounce our Maker.
We cleave to the darkness.
We take unto ourselves the power and glory.
Behold! We are the Nine,
The Lords of Unending Life.
Hobbits are simple folk who don’t desire power, so they’re less easily corrupted by the ring.
Also Wizards aren’t really old men, they’re equivalent to angels; I.e. Spirits called Maiar, sent to Middle Earth thousands of years ago to help people resist Sauron (Also a Maiar)
It’s a role of guidance, they aren’t allowed to us their full power for risk of it doing more harm than good.
You keep it for the same reason a museum displays the "Mona Lisa."
The movie established this here 2:57🤦♂
The one who ended Sauron was Elrond and Elendil, Vanquishing the Maia right then and there.
@@Makkaru112 I was talking about the sword.
I want to use crazybeautiful Ian Holm's ring for 60 years.
Holy sh!t! So excited for you to start this journey
That is the coolest thing ever, I love him even more now.
Love this comment!
The actor Gavin Richards lives in New Zealand.
Great video
The Lord of the Rings trilogy is amazing
But I’d strongly recommend you to watch the extended version of the third Lord of the Rings movie because in the original version there are missing a couple of scenes which are important to the movie
32:32 no, it's sword from old ancestor (sword was broke 3000years ago)
"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like-"
Frodo said earlier half the Shire was invited, and the other half showed up anyhow. Bilbo is calling out the gatecrashers and saying he'd like to know them LESS, as in he is straight-up saying he wishes they'd never shown up.
"-and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."
Bilbo is saying that, of the people he actually invited, he doesn't actually like a lot of them and only invited them out of propriety, or else likes them more than he feels they deserve he should. Both ways is an insult.
He basically insulted all of the Shire STRAIGHT TO THEIR FACES and got away with it.
Gandalf & Saruman are basically angels. They only look like old men. They could fistfight with the best of them & heal faster than any human.
Plus they're angelic beautiful.
@@Kuhmuhnistische_Partei You’ll love this quaint little video about Tolkiens work. It’s not long and it really gives you the scope and the depth. Also note too his main inspiration for Lùthien was his wife Edith. Also check out their tombstones. It’s tear jerking ua-cam.com/video/n9a5XP3HCIA/v-deo.html The lore of which you speak of is also shared here.
Legolas is actually 2931? yrs old in this time. ;)
Nice reaction. BTW, Frodo is 50 years old when he leaves the Shire with the Ring. And Elrond is actually between 6 and 7 thousand years old at the time of the War of the Ring.
Yes, but in Hobbit years that's a teenager
Hilarious!)
Orlando Bloom had just graduated from acting school when he was hired for the films.
6:21 fun Shire fact lol, Ian McKellen (Gandalf) actually hit his head on that beam just after the chandelier, since the real hobbit homes in New Zealand are really that small lol. They just caught it on camera and decided to keep it. They do that a few times in this trilogy 😂
Frodo was 50 years old when he left The Shire... seriously...
Yeah, some of the early hardcore fans of the books didn't like the detail that he looks so young in the movies.
@@Kuhmuhnistische_Partei That didn't bother me when the movie came out. I guessed Hobbits age slower than humans...
63 to be exact.
@@Kuhmuhnistische_Partei Hobbits age differently.
Yeah, they glossed over the 17 year time jump after the party, so he’s probably still 33 in the film. Nevertheless, Elijah Wood was only 20 years old. 🤦♂️
The funny thing is I’ve never seen this movie to ever so I’m glad my first time watching it was with you brotha 💯🔥
Frodo: Youve officially been labeled "a disturber of the peace".
Gandalf: -puff puff- Thats a fuckin sick title, bro. I'm all for it.

Another comment telling you to watch the next two in the extended versions, cause there's VERY important scenes missing in the theatrical.
what for, he does not seem to get it anyway
i have to admit i am a pretty hardcore fan of LOTR and i used to be one of those people who got upset at people making jokes but i've come to realize that everyone enjoys movies in different ways and just because you make jokes doesnt mean you are disrespecting it
FUN FACT: Christopher Lee was the only person in the entire cast who actually met J.R.R Tolkien
My God, what an honor. 🥹
Orlando Bloom was an unknown when this came out, so I doubt it.
@@rickardroach9075 i do believe they were joking
I would say that the Extended Cut for this movie is the only one that was worth seeing, cause it is a huge improvement from its Theatrical Cut. The rest are mostly okay. But still a pretty good reaction to this. Also it's funny you say Gandalf looks like Dumbeldore, cause the actor for Dumbeldore says he always gets mistaken for him, and so did he too
Almost all fantasy stories stem from Lotr. Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Narnia (maybe) etc, have all taken elements from Tolkien
You should know the author of the books created whole languages, Elvish, Dwarvish etc
“Until a local hillbilly was fishing for some trout and then pulled the ring out the water.”
Ummm…. 👀
Also, you’re watching the *short* version.
yeah, i was laughing out loud
I was pleasantly surprised at how entertaining your react was!
Saruman, the White Wizard, was played by Christopher Lee. For movie horror buffs in the second half of the 20th Century, he WAS Dracula in many British movies. I'm sure that he will always be remembered as such (and as Saruman) rather than "Count Dookoo") .
Very excited for this!! 🤙🏻
I can't believe you haven't seen this trilogy. Either way, I'm so excited to go on this journey with you! Can't wait for more!
Whenever I see reactions to aliens, LOTR, terminator 2 i.e my childhood favourites I wonder what films everyone else was watching
You're 25 years old?! Immediately spits drink though nose 😂 😂 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣 dancing Woody at the end had me in stitches 🖤
The music in these movies, just incredible. I’m telling ya, LoTR and Harry Potter are my go to fantasy movie series.
Azkaban has a beautiful soundtrack
the clips with gandalf where filmed with a table on gandalfs side with small tables and food and all and on the hobbit side its mega huge and its all a game of perspective.
frodo age is over 40, not 10
and hobbits become adult after 30 so pipin was kid when he go into advanture

That (Gimli) was John Rhys Davies. He was the fat guy, from the Indiana Jones movies.
You’ll be surprised by the end at how quickly time flies.
The captions on this vid really makes this vid amazing 😂😂😂

This was a good one loved it
If you are ever in Los Angeles, pay a visit to Warner Bros. studio and do the tour.

One does not simply watch a Puggapillar reaction and not enjoy it immensely
